Who is to Blame for the Mess We Are In? And the Future

Since the election of B. Hussein Obama as President, I have been pretty much silent in my blogging. And the reason why is one of DISGUST!

That's right, DISGUST! I was DISGUSTED and disappointed in the American Public.

The American Public, led by the nose by Donk's PR Machine the Lamestream Media, bought hook, line and sinker into the godhood of Obama.

And since the election of Obama, we have seen our nation's Unemployment skyrocket, our National Debt triple, our standing in the world sink, and our foreign policy bow down before and embrace tyrants and leftists.

So who is to blame?

Two groups are really to blame for this mess, 1) The lying lefty biased MSM and 2) the stupidity of the American Public.

Nearly 2 years after the election of Obama, I still am in shock that the American Public bought into his crap, his "Hope & Change" bullshit, and the MSM's blatant bias to elect the 1st Black President.

Just because Obama is Black was no reason to ignore his governing ineptitude, his socialist background or his total lack of experience. But people actually believed that he was the next political messiah, and chose to ignore his vastly significant shortcomings. Thus the American Public and the MSM are to blame for the mess we are in. Lost your job? Blame your neighbor for voting for Obama.

Thank God, this same American Public has shaken off the fairy dust that Obama and MSM has spread around (only after they danced around in glee frolicking with unicorns for a while), has seen that emperor has no clothes, and is trying to change the America's future by ousting the commies in Congress and electing politicians who will take their responsibilities in governing seriously.

The future can go either way, the old Republican Leaders may continue their spineless appeasement to the Dems in the running of Congress, while holding the majority, and ignoring the roars of their constituents. Or they may listen to the new members of Congress, elected by the voters because they are tired of the old ways of governing, and grow some cojones, slash spending, cut waste, and jack up Obama and his czars on his disastrous socialist take over of America.

I can't predict the future, but I hope like hell, that the Republican Leader understands, that it can't be business as usual or they will be a minority party again, and a third party will come forward to take up the mantle of being true conservatives.

Pissing in the Wind - MSM Style

As the newsprint media is rotting on the vine, they are trying to release more propaganda, this time to support themselves!

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Several newspaper executives launched a public relations campaign Monday to counter what they call "gloom-and-doom" reports of the industry's demise.

Sure, they admit, times are tough. The economy is bad, the Internet has sucked away advertising dollars and people are losing jobs.

But the 100 million people who read a newspaper the day after the Super Bowl outnumbered the TV audience for the game, the group said in an advertisement that appeared Monday in more than 300 daily newspapers, including The New York Times and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

With the ads, commentary pieces and a Web site, the industry is painting itself as a vital source of information and the best place for advertisers to sell anything from grapes to a house _ not the dinosaur often portrayed in the media.

If their definition of "vital source of information" is biased facts and misinformation, then maybe they are correct. But the American public is not as dumb as the newsrags believe they are. The people know when they are being fed a load of crap, they know when they read an important article on the internet, but not in the newspaper, that something is fishy, and that something is the what they wrap their fish in.

The NY Slimes is dying, along with other major papers. And no amount of advertising is going to help.

Not Much Change in a Week

I was in Atlanta all last week attending a training class for 12 hours a day. And with a crappy internet connection, I was uninformed about what was happening as far as the election and other news. I even missed the final debate, and didn't see how well McCain slapped Obama around. Catching up on Saturday morning, I was not surprised to find the following:

- The Obama campaign is still lying to the voters.

- The MSM is further in the tank for Obama, ravished some poor guy Joe "The Plumber" while ignoring Obama's ties to crooks, terrorists and ACORN.

- Obama's voter fraud organ, ACORN, continues to register dead people and Disney characters. Now being investigated in more states, and further being ignored by the MSM.

- Colin Powell betrays conservatives and endorses Obama based on his skin color.

Yep, nothing changed.

Will We Ever Have a Fair Election Again?

Generally in the past, election fraud was at the local level, with the Donks raising the dead to vote for the Democrat nominee, and buying vote with cartons of smokes. But this election is unique with 90% of MSM being cult followers of the Obamessiah and doing everything in their power to get him elected President.

We see it on MSNBC (the most blatant worshipers) and the rest of the major news networks (except FoxNews). Glenn Reynolds even received an e-mail from someone in a major news organization stating this fact:

People cheer when CNN or NBC run another Palin-mocking but raising any reasonable inquiry into obama is derided or flat out ignored. The fix is in, and its working." Michelle Malkin is posting about the moderator of the up coming VP Debates as being in the tank for the One:

But there is nothing “moderate” about where Ifill stands on Barack Obama. She’s so far in the tank for the Democrat presidential candidate, her oxygen delivery line is running out.

With the MSM being an unpaid PR machine for the Donk Party, will we ever have a fair and impartial election again?

And whatever happen to giving the public the facts on each Party's positions and each candidate's views and letting the voters decide which one they want to choose?

If the Empty Suit and the Idiot with hair plugs win the election, it will not be because they won American public over on their policies and views, it will because the MSM did not show the public the real Obama, the crook and racist Obama.

We May Know the Real Facts, But....

But....does the rest of America?

If you are like me, then you get your news from the internet. Reading the top conservative blogs and news sites. This the way can discern that MSM is biased and down right unethical in it's reporting. We are enlightened to the truth, by comparing the facts against what is reported. Thus we are informed and can make opinions and choices based on the facts.

But what about the majority of America? Where do they get their information?

Unfortunately they receive their news through the MSM.

So while we know that the Obamessiah is linked to America Haters, criminals and terrorists, the typical American doesn't. We know that Joe Biden is a socialist Donk idiot, but America doesn't. We know that smears against Sarah Palin are lies, but does America?

While we may be appalled by what we know about the Democrats and Obama, don't be surprised that America isn't, because they don't know any better.

This election isn't about policies, the issues or character, it is about being able to break down the MSM wall of lies and distortions and just giving Americans the facts in which the can make an informed opinion upon.

Dan Rather Will Die a Deluded Moron

Dan Rather sued CBS, the suit was thrown out of court. He is trying again to blame CBS for his own embarrassing fall from grace. But that is not the story, the story is his refusal to acknowledge reality:

"The story was true. What we said in the report was true, despite what others have tried to have you believe about the documents, which were one, and only one, part of the story," Rather said.

He still believes his own BS, he still believes that a story, based on forged documents, is true.

He proclaims to be a journalist, but journalists are suppose to has a firm grasp on reality and report what is, not what they want it to be. And Dan lost his grasp on reality and continues to foster his view of what was.

Dan Rather is destined to die as a friggin' moron that will not acknowledge that his view of the world is seriously flawed.

Trust in the MSM?

The big three news networks and the print rags have been losing the trust of the public, and now it appears that the majority doesn't even gets it's news from them any more.

Nearly 70 percent of Americans believe traditional journalism is out of touch, and nearly half are turning to the Internet to get their news, according to a new survey.

While most people think journalism is important to the quality of life, 64 percent are dissatisfied with the quality of journalism in their communities, a We Media/Zogby Interactive online poll showed.

Nearly half of the 1,979 people who responded to the survey said their primary source of news and information is the Internet, up from 40 percent just a year ago. Less than one third use television to get their news, while 11 percent turn to radio and 10 percent to newspapers.

Wow, the MSM's slide down into the sewer has been a long time coming, well deserved, and faster than I thought. 1/3 only get their news from TV and only 10% from newsprint, that is really low.

There may be hope for America since the public is turning away from the liberal biased MSM.

The MSM and the Presidential Election

The job of the news media is to report the news, but as we all know that is not the case, they include their own bias (left, left and more left). They skew the news through omission of facts, addition of incorrect facts, or just plain and blatant lefty bias.

And this is very evident this election season in how they treat the candidates.

Hillary is loved by the MSM, what ever she says is the truth, and any harmful facts are ignored. Just look at how the MSM is not talking about the just released HillaryCare papers, showing the secret and conspiracy like agenda she had in trying to force her brand of socialism down our throats. Where is the outrage from the MSM? Nowhere! The MSM wants Hillary to win because, she is a Clinton and because she is a woman. Which neither are good reasons to have her in the White House.

There are some in the MSM that have fallen for the Obama-Messiah and say Amen! to every word he utters. Again it is because he is a flaming Liberal, and most of all because he is Black. Again, not good reasons.

And how do they treat the Republicans? Like people that are a nuisance, and getting in the way of electing the first Woman or Black man to the Presidency.

They are enthralled with the Huckster, because they know he would lose in the General election. And the same goes with Johnny Mac. They ignore Fred! because he has a great chance to beat either Obama or Hillary, and they never talk about his positions on the issues, just his "lack of fire" for campaigning.

This election, more than any other in the past will be shaped by the bias of the MSM, and thank God that the internet can overcome some of the bias, but not it all.

Wait and see, that is what I am going to do for right now.

Too Bad, Not Sad and Journalistic Dishonesty

The San Fransicko Chronicle is bemoaning the fact that the latest batch of anti-American/anti-War in Iraq films have bombed.

Jabbar Magruder is an active duty Army National Guard sergeant who served 11 months in Iraq. He was hoping that stateside Americans would get a glimpse of what the war was like when several dramas featuring the Iraq conflict either in the foreground or the background hit theaters this fall.

Few have. Despite A-list casts - including Robert Redford, Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones - and generally good reviews, war-related dramas tanked this fall at the box office, failing to attract a substantial audience during Hollywood's serious film season.

But to some Iraq veterans, like Magruder, who have tried to raise awareness about the war's perils, the apathy represents a larger disconnect many Americans feel toward the war. Implicit in the Redford, Streep and Tom Cruise film "Lions for Lambs" is a challenge to filmgoers to become impassioned about the war.

Few received the challenge; box-office gross for the film dropped 57 percent nationally last weekend, its second in theaters. Its two-week gross was $11.5 million, low for a film that cost a reported $35 million to make. "Lions" earned only slightly more last weekend than "Saw IV," the serial-killer bloodbath, which is in its fourth weekend.

"I thought that with the casts (of these films), at least a portion of America would go to see them," said Magruder, a 24-year-old who is taking premed classes at California State University Northridge and is the Los Angeles chapter president of Iraq Veterans Against the War.

Not only is the Chronicle whining about the poor showing of these films, but they got a real honest to God vet to interview. It just so happens that this vet is part of the Iraq Veterans Against the War. In fact everyone interviewed was a member of the Iraq Veterans Against the War, that's real objective of the Chronicle don't ya think?

And how well have these anti-American/anti-War films done to date?

"The Kingdom," starring Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx, was the top earner with $47 million, "which is a low gross for a Hollywood action picture," Gray said. "Rendition," starring Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon, has taken in $9.7 million, and "In the Valley of Elah," $6.7 million.

"Redacted" opened last weekend ...The film grossed $26,000 over the weekend, a per-theater ratio low enough for Gray to declare it a flop for DePalma, who won the best director award at the Venice Film Festival this year.

These leftist idiots don't understand that the American public doesn't want to see leftist propaganda against the War in Iraq, they want to see American soldiers as the good guys, they want to see our troopers kicking terrorist ass.

But I doubt very much if we will see any pro-military films coming out of HollyWeird soon, even if it would make a ton of money, it's not going to happen.

Is Matt Drudge Trying to Become Another Goracle?

The Drudge Report used to be a go-to site for the latest and greatest news, but lately it has become the Chicken Little go-to site.

All summer he had warnings of high temperatures across the nation and sever weather every day on his front page. And now it has been the price of oil going up.

Todays headline it is "$90 OIL and CLIMBING!" with a link to a Yahoo article, and he has been scoreboarding the price of oil for months. Is he doing this to panic people, when there is no reason to panic? The futures price of $90 or $100 isn't going to raise the cost of gas tomorrow, so why is he harping on it? This upward trend is being forced on the market by greedy speculators, and nothing to do with the supply and demand of oil.

So why is Drudge being so anal about the future spot buys of oil?

I think Drudge wants to panic the people, become another Goracle and win a dime store award.

The American Public is Not as Stupid as the MSM Thinks

The MSM thinks the American public is a bunch of moronic vegetables basking in the sunlight of their biased BS. Not so!

More than half of Americans say US news organizations are politically biased, inaccurate, and don't care about the people they report on, a poll published Thursday showed.

And poll respondents who use the Internet as their main source of news -- roughly one quarter of all Americans -- were even harsher with their criticism, the poll conducted by the Pew Research Center said.

More than two-thirds of the Internet users said they felt that news organizations don't care about the people they report on; 59 percent said their reporting was inaccurate; and 64 percent they were politically biased.

More than half -- 53 percent -- of Internet users also faulted the news organizations for "failing to stand up for America".

With the advent of the Internet, the public has become more informed, it allows the public to find alternative news sources, which tends to highlite the MSM's liberal news slant. The MSM keeps spewing the same old liberal bias, keeps pushing their anti-War, anti-America, anti-Israel, anti-Bush agenda, and the public sees this, because they have the ability to find the truth elsewhere.

Will they stop? No, because they think all is well in La-la Land, despite newspaper readership sinking like Ted Kennedy's Oldsmobile, and despite Fox News kicking everyones butt in TV news viewership. They will continue in their biased spewing and liberal agenda, because they think they are right and the public needs the brainwashing.

And that is why conservative talk shows are very popular, because the public doesn't want what the MSM has to offer, they want the truth.

And we deserve the truth!

As If They Used It In The First Place

The UK Gov't is thinking about doing away with the broadcasting "impartiality" rule. And get this, they want to do away with it to attract "younger" viewers.

London (CNSNews.com) - The British government is considering dropping "impartiality" requirements for television news in order to attract younger and more diverse viewers.

Impartiality has been a longtime requirement for public broadcasters in the United Kingdom, as well as for other channels licensed in Britain. But the country's official media regulator, the Office of Communications (Ofcom), says this may change.

Currently, the Broadcasting Code says that news broadcasts must not favor one side or the other on a particular issue. While this does not mean that "an equal division of time has to be given to every view" possible, it does mean that "undue prominence" must be not given to any one view or person, according to the code.

Answer me this: How can you drop a requirement, when that requirement has not been in use for a long time? All you have to do is review the Beeb's programming on the War in Iraq or last summer's Israeli/Hezzie war to see that they never reported the news with anything close to impartiality.

No, I think they want to drop it because they know that there has been no impartial broadcasting from their networks for decades and why have a rule if it is ignored by all.

Impartiality, what a joke and it is not something you mention in the same sentence as any news organization, especially any British or American news.

Ann Coulter is Being Slandered, Again

I heard what she said, and I heard her jokes about the Silky Pony Edwards, and naturally as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, the MSM has slandered her by misrepresenting what she said, by not reporting, all of what she said and claiming she said something else.

The Edwards campaign is apparently still running low on donations, so this week they went back to their top fundraiser: me.

I doubled the ratings of the lowest-rated cable news show on Tuesday by agreeing to go on for a full hour to promote my new paperback version of "Godless" — a mistake I won't make again. As I was walking to the set, minutes before airtime, it was casually mentioned to me that Elizabeth Edwards, wife of Democratic presidential candidate, John Edwards, might call in.

For the first time in recorded history, the show's host did not interrupt a guest, but let Elizabeth Edwards ramble on and on, allowing her to browbeat me for being mean to her husband. (This delicate flower is very sensitive to rough words, having hired the Edwards' campaign staffer who wrote this: "What if Mary had taken Plan B after the Lord filled her with his hot, white, sticky Holy Spirit"?)

Say, did any TV host ever surprise Al Franken, Bill Maher or Arianna Huffington with a call by the wife of someone they've made nasty remarks about? How about a call to John Edwards from the wife of a doctor he bankrupted with his junk-science lawsuits?

I think I may have tuned out at some point, so I can only speak to the first 45 minutes of Elizabeth Edwards' harangue, but it mostly consisted of utterly dishonest renditions of things I had said on my "Good Morning America" interview this week and a column I wrote four years ago. (You can't rush Edwards' "rapid response team"!) She claimed I had launched unprovoked attacks on the Edwards' dead son and called for a terrorist attack on her husband.

These are bald-faced lies, and the mainstream media knows they are lies. Yet they were repeated ad nauseam on Wednesday by The Associated Press, the AOL pop-up window, CNN, NBC and — stunningly — the host of the lowest-rated cable show himself, who personally told me he knew the truth.

So for those of you who haven't read any of my five best-selling books: Liberals are driven by Satan and lie constantly.

Here is my full sentence on "Good Morning America," which the media deceptively truncated, referring to a joke I told about Edwards six months ago that made liberals cry: "But about the same time, you know, Bill Maher was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack — so I've learned my lesson: If I'm going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I'll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot."

The usual nut Web sites posted a zillion denunciations of my appearance on "Good Morning America" immediately after I appeared Monday morning. But it didn't occur to any of them to simply lie about what I had said. No, it took them nearly 36 hours to concoct a version of that quote that included the Edwards part, but not the Maher part, or what English language speakers call: "the point."

By tomorrow it will be: "Ann Coulter tried to kill John Edwards on 'Good Morning America'!"

Judging by his fundraising efforts so far, I gather most of you don't know who John Edwards is — unless you're an overpriced hair dresser. He's the trial lawyer who pretended in court to channel the spirit of a handicapped fetus in front of illiterate jurors to scam tens of millions of dollars off of innocent doctors. According to The New York Times, Edwards told one jury: "She speaks to you through me ... And I have to tell you right now — I didn't plan to talk about this — right now I feel her. I feel her presence. She's inside me, and she's talking to you."

Let me also quote from campaign consultant Bob Shrum's book "No Excuses":

"(Kerry) was even queasier about Edwards after they met. Edwards had told Kerry he was going to share a story with him that he'd never told anyone else — that after his son Wade had been killed, he climbed onto the slab at the funeral home, laid there and hugged his body, and promised that he'd do all he could to make life better for people, to live up to Wade's ideals of service. Kerry was stunned, not moved, because, as he told me later, Edwards had recounted the same exact story to him, almost in the exact same words, a year or two before — and with the same preface, that he'd never shared the memory with anyone else. Kerry said he found it chilling, and he decided he couldn't pick Edwards unless he met with him again."

Apparently every time Edwards began a story about his dead son with "I've never told anyone this before," everyone on the campaign could lip-sync the story with him.

As a commentator, I bring facts like these to the attention of the American people in a lively way. Thus, for example, in a column about the Democratic candidates for president written in 2003, I pointed out that the Democrats refused to discuss the economy or the war, but had recently "discovered a surprise campaign issue: It turns out that several of them have had a death in the family."

Among several examples of Democrats talking about a death in the family on the campaign trail was this one:

John Edwards injects his son's fatal car accident into his campaign by demanding that everyone notice how he refuses to inject his son's fatal car accident into his campaign.

Edwards has talked about his son's death in a 1996 car accident on "Good Morning America," in dozens of profiles and in his new book. ("It was and is the most important fact of my life.") His 1998 Senate campaign ads featured film footage of Edwards at a learning lab he founded in honor of his son, titled "The Wade Edwards Learning Lab." He wears his son's Outward Bound pin on his suit lapel. He was going to wear it on his sleeve, until someone suggested that might be a little too "on the nose."

If you want points for not using your son's death politically, don't you have to take down all those "Ask me about my son's death in a horrific car accident" bumper stickers? Edwards is like a politician who keeps announcing that he will not use his opponent's criminal record for partisan political advantage.

Manifestly, I was not making fun of their son's death; I was making fun of John Edwards' incredibly creepy habit of invoking his son's tragic death to advance his political career — a practice so repellant, it even made John Kerry queasy.

I'm a little tired of losers trying to raise campaign cash or TV ratings off of my coattails, particularly when they use their afflictions or bereavement schedules to try to silence the opposition. From now on, I'm attacking only serious presidential candidates, like Dennis Kucinich.

Yes, she adds a little zing to her statements, but you have to admit, her statements are right-on and the truth, which most people (conservatives included) don't want to hear or read about. And the one pissed-off factoring thing about all this is, that the Leftards/MSM/Donks/KosKids call her a meaney and that she says nasty things (Oh My! Lions, Tigers and Bears!), while denying what she saying as being true and, a very big AND, their side is 100,000 times worse on the nastiness scale in what they say and spew on their blogs about people/politicians they disagree with. In fact you can feel the foaming at the mouth HATE in their columns, one in which Edwards himself had as his "official" blogger.

The Donks and Leftards don't want an honest debate on the issues, that is their typical smokescreen for slandering their opponents, because they know they would lose that debate, thus the verbal slight of hand.

And as Ann has pointed out, numerous times, the Donks feel they have the moral authority to decide the issues because they have:

1) Lost a loved one
2) Been close to an Army Base
3) Knew someone that was poor once
or
4) Can spell Iraq

There used to be some semblance to decency in politics at one time, but not anymore.

The Donks and the MSM want the War in Iraq to go badly, they want the American public to think that Iraq is worse off now than under Saddam Hussein and that is aiding and abetting the enemy in my book. The dishonesty of the MSM and the dishonesty of reporters sitting in the Green Zone reporting nothing but doom and gloom is getting very tiresome and goes against journalistic ethics.

Great improvements are happening in Iraq and for the Iraqi people, we need these improvements to be reported so the America public can see the great things our country is doing over there, and the MSM is failing America by not reporting them.

The agenda of the MSM and Donks is dishonest, disgusting and disinformation, and may these treasonous bastards rot in hell!

Ace, owner/proprietor of the Ace of Spades Headquarters blogsite, has an incredible rant on how the MSM is ignoring the a important portion of latest Pew poll of American Muslims. And that portion is that 26% of American Muslims in the age of 18 to 26 believe that it is acceptable to kill innocent Americans in defense of their religion.

How Nice of ABC to Commit Treason and Blow an Intelligence Operation

America's own news network, the American Broadcast Corporation, think they are such hot stuff because they caught wind of an intelligence operation to destabilize Iran's Gov't. But what they have committed is treason by aiding the enemy.

The CIA has received secret presidential approval to mount a covert "black" operation to destabilize the Iranian government, current and former officials in the intelligence community tell the Blotter on ABCNews.com.

I believe in freedom of the press, but what comes with it is the responsibility to know when not to divulge Gov't secret, especially ones that can possibly cause harm to Americans. Because this wasn't an innocent slip of the tongue, and because ABC is liberal and demonstrates their hatred of President Bush daily, this aiding the enemy, and to me is treason.

Thank you ABC, I hope those snug smiles on your faces are wiped off when an Iranian nuke is used on NY City.

CBS News and Katie Couric are bombing, ratings are right down there with Public Access shows. And why is that? Well according to Linda Mason it is because men don't like women news anchors.

Brian Montopoli: You told me, a little while back, that you were "the first woman at every job I had at CBS News." And that includes in 1971, when you were the first female field producer for The CBS Evening News With Walter Cronkite. I'm curious your take on Katie Couric's experience as the first solo female nightly news anchor.

Linda Mason: I'm just surprised at how, almost 30 years after I worked on the "Evening News" as the first woman producer, that Katie is having such a tough time being accepted by the public, which seems to prefer the news from white guys, and now that Charlie's doing so well, from older white guys. I guess they want the reassurance of a Walter Cronkite.

I had no idea that a woman delivering the news would be a handicap. And I'm afraid that Katie's paying a price for being the first woman. But I think it's a great trail that she's blazing, and I think if the broadcast continues to be as good as it has been, if we continue to break news, if we continue to tell interesting stories, people will start to watch. It takes time, I think. But I was surprised that there was an obvious connection between a woman giving the news, and the audience wanting to watch it.

So Linda thinks it all has to do with Katie's gender, never mind the obvious bias and slanted news stories. Never mind that CBS has lost it's credibility (thanks Dan!). And never mind that when people want to read opinionated news they will read it on the intertubes rather than listen to Katie spew it out.

Linda Mason: I think a blog and CBSNews.com are two different things. I think a blog tends to reflect the opinion or opinions of the people putting out the blog. It in no way strikes to be fair and measured. It's putting out that viewpoint, I think. And I think that CBSNews.com is trying to put forth the whole story. So I think there's a real difference.

Howie Dean is Upset with His PR Machine

The MSM is not on Howie Dean's good buddy list, in fact he thinks they ought to be barred from Presidential Candidate's meetings.

The head of the Democratic Party said Wednesday that the best way to get presidential candidates to talk frankly about issues is to lock out the media.

During the Mortgage Bankers Association conference, a banker expressed frustration with candidates who only talk in sound bites and wondered how that could be changed. Howard Dean, once a presidential candidate, offered a simple solution.

"I suggest you have candidates in to meetings like this and bar the press," Dean said.

"The media has been reduced to info-tainment," Dean said. "Info-tainment sells, the problem is they reach the lowest common denominator instead of forcing a little education down our throats, which we are probably in need of from time to time."

Dean was considered a strong contender for the 2004 Democratic nomination, but after finishing third in the Iowa caucuses, he gave a speech that included a rant punctuated by a scream. The clip was shown repeatedly on television and became the subject of late-night jokes.

Dean said politicians live in fear that their words will be twisted for the sake of headlines.

No, Howie doesn't really fear that the candidate's words will be twisted, he is more afraid that they speak the truth of their real views and these views will cost them votes. Howie should know, he has made some outrageous statements, which were printed/read on the news, and when the public heard them, they were appalled. The biggest fear that the Donks have is that he general public will find out what they really feel on the issues, when all the double speak and rhetoric is stripped away, the American people will find that Donk candidates don't care about them, that they hate America, that they want to control all aspects of our lives, that socialism is a religion to them and that they only care about power.

Howie is afraid that the truth will be revealed, and that can't happen if the Donks want to stay in power.

Oh, and by the way, nice scream Howie, I caught it TV.

A Horrid Crime That Isn't Making the MSM

I saw this post by LauraW at the Ace of Spades and Retired Geezer sent me a link to it also.

This is a post by the Mayor of Michieville on the murder of a young couple.

This young couple were cruelly tortured and then murdered after 4 days, it was gruesome crime that was never told by the major newspapers or news channels. You know why? Because the victims were white and the criminals, all five of them, are black.

If the races had been reversed, the story would have been splashed across every channel and every paper for days. And in there lies the problem, the MSM lives on sensationalism, not journalism, and the cruel death of a white couple is not sensational, but the alleged (and phony) rape of a black stripper by 3 white Duke students is.

This is news, no matter the race of either the victims or criminals and when the MSM ignores it because of race, then they are racist.

This story needs to be spread, not because the victims were white, but because the MSM ignored because the victims were white.

Journalism is dead, all we have now in the MSM are biased haters with no integrity that report what think the public wants to hear, not what the public needs to hear.

Newt the Dark Horse Candidate

Newt Gingrich is silently leading the way, but the MSM is ignoring this.

Press accounts seldom name former House Speaker Newt Gingrich in the top tier of aspirants for the Republican presidential nomination, despite polls consistently showing he belongs there.

"Newt's invisible to much of the nation's media," said Republican communications strategist Tom Edmonds. "The liberal press doesn't want to acknowledge that he casts a big shadow over the 2008 race."

News stories and opinion columns routinely refer to Arizona Sen. John McCain, former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney as the "top tier" or "first tier" Republican presidential candidates for 2008.

Yet in every recent poll national poll -- as well as in Iowa, a key early caucus state -- Mr. Gingrich leads Mr. Romney among Republican likely voters. And it's not just because of high name recognition alone, conservatives say.

"Everybody here loves Gingrich," said Iowa Republican Party Executive Director Chuck Laudner. "He is a hero."

More than a dozen years after he zoomed to national prominence as the brash leader of the 1994 "Republican revolution," Mr. Gingrich has attained status as an elder statesman among top conservative leaders.

"I don't know how Gingrich would perform if he were elected to the highest office in the land but these days he is responsible in that each time I read one of his policy initiatives I want to stand up and cheer," said Paul M. Weyrich, chairman of the Free Congress Foundation.

Newt is "The MAN", not because of name recognition, but because he has held true to conservative values and ideals. I admit if Newt were to run, he would have my vote in a heart beat, because of where he stands on the important issues. And this is why the MSM is ignoring him. They don't want to stir up the conservative base, they don't want to encourage voters by highliting a true leader that could beat the Donks in 2008. They are scared of Newt and so are the Donks.

I pray he runs, because he is what America and conservatives need, not some power hungry, socialist sHillary, not inexperienced and Liberal Obama and definitely not the Silky Pony Edwards. America needs someone to make the hard choices, someone to scale back Big Gov't, someone to not raise taxes, and definitely someone that won't run away in the War on Terrorism.
