The San Fransicko Chronicle is bemoaning the fact that the latest batch of anti-American/anti-War in Iraq films have bombed.

Jabbar Magruder is an active duty Army National Guard sergeant who served 11 months in Iraq. He was hoping that stateside Americans would get a glimpse of what the war was like when several dramas featuring the Iraq conflict either in the foreground or the background hit theaters this fall.

Few have. Despite A-list casts - including Robert Redford, Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones - and generally good reviews, war-related dramas tanked this fall at the box office, failing to attract a substantial audience during Hollywood's serious film season.

But to some Iraq veterans, like Magruder, who have tried to raise awareness about the war's perils, the apathy represents a larger disconnect many Americans feel toward the war. Implicit in the Redford, Streep and Tom Cruise film "Lions for Lambs" is a challenge to filmgoers to become impassioned about the war.

Few received the challenge; box-office gross for the film dropped 57 percent nationally last weekend, its second in theaters. Its two-week gross was $11.5 million, low for a film that cost a reported $35 million to make. "Lions" earned only slightly more last weekend than "Saw IV," the serial-killer bloodbath, which is in its fourth weekend.

"I thought that with the casts (of these films), at least a portion of America would go to see them," said Magruder, a 24-year-old who is taking premed classes at California State University Northridge and is the Los Angeles chapter president of Iraq Veterans Against the War.

Not only is the Chronicle whining about the poor showing of these films, but they got a real honest to God vet to interview. It just so happens that this vet is part of the Iraq Veterans Against the War. In fact everyone interviewed was a member of the Iraq Veterans Against the War, that's real objective of the Chronicle don't ya think?

And how well have these anti-American/anti-War films done to date?

"The Kingdom," starring Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx, was the top earner with $47 million, "which is a low gross for a Hollywood action picture," Gray said. "Rendition," starring Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon, has taken in $9.7 million, and "In the Valley of Elah," $6.7 million.

"Redacted" opened last weekend ...The film grossed $26,000 over the weekend, a per-theater ratio low enough for Gray to declare it a flop for DePalma, who won the best director award at the Venice Film Festival this year.

These leftist idiots don't understand that the American public doesn't want to see leftist propaganda against the War in Iraq, they want to see American soldiers as the good guys, they want to see our troopers kicking terrorist ass.

But I doubt very much if we will see any pro-military films coming out of HollyWeird soon, even if it would make a ton of money, it's not going to happen.

John Muthra Has No Soul

With all my traveling last week and the news about Iamanutjob coming to America, I missed this little statement by John "Cut'n'Run to Okinawa" Muthra.

(CNSNews.com) - If pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq results in "a bloodbath," the guilt will rest with the Iraqi people and not with the U.S. Congress, according to Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.), a leading proponent of withdrawing troops.

"Many have threatened that there will be chaos, a bloodbath, when the United States redeploys from Iraq, and this in fact may be the case," Murtha said in a speech at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Monday. "If they continue to choose to spill blood, it will not be on the conscience of the United States."

The Donks are suppose to be the "compassionate" party, the champions looking out for the underprivileged, taking care of those that can't help themselves, but that statement by Muthra doesn't sound real compassionate, and sure in the hell doesn't sound like he is looking out for the Iraqi people.

Abscam John wants to Cut'n'Run, surrender to al-Qaida, and to hell with the millions of Iraqis that Americans died to free from Saddam and help build a new country. John Muthra has no conscience, no compassion, no values and no soul, because he sold his soul to the Devil for power.

President Bush Says Don't Surrender to al-Qaida

I watched the President's speech last night, and I heard him layout his plan, I heard the President ask for the American public to understand the consequence of hasty withdrawal and I heard him make a bi-partisan plea for everyone to back this plan and support the Iraqi people in their struggle for democracy.

But I am not foolish enough to believe that is what others heard. The nay-sayers, and haters will hear something else, the pundits will pick apart his speech, even hacks in his own party will have ill words to say about his speech and plan.

Many will say "look at what happen Iraq the last 4 years", and the President is saying look to the future, look at the next 6 to 12 mths, look at the next 3 years, a healthy governed and secure Iraq is vital to the Middle East, the US and the War on Terrorism.

There are a lot of selfish people that don't like or want to understand the war in Iraq, for many selfish reasons, but it is vital that we continue what we started otherwise we condemn the Iraqi people to death, we condemn the US to more attacks and we enable al-Qaida to strengthen it's forces.

If we tuck our tails between our legs and run away like a Fwench Poodle, then we will experience more American deaths than if we stayed and continued down the honorable path.

The Donks have already made their decision, they want to be Fwench Poodles, they care nothing about the America's security or it's people, they care about electability and power. So it is up to the America public to get behind President Bush and General Petraeus' plan and save not just Iraq, but our own country.

Donks Want Power, Don't Care About Lives

What is important to the Donks? Is it Blacks? Nope, they only give lip services to Blacks so they can count on their votes. Is it poverty? Nope, another lie for votes. And it isn't Gays, ILLEGAL Immigration, protection of America, the economy, or peace, to the Donks, the only thing that counts is power.

And to substantiate my statement, just look at what they think of the possible good report that may come out next month.

Democrats are warily anticipating a September report on the Iraq war, realizing that opponents will use any upbeat assessment to portray them as defeatists just as glimmers of hope appear.

In late July, House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C., said an upbeat assessment from Petraeus would carry significant weight with his party's most conservative members. They would "want to stay the course, and if the Republicans were to stay united as they have been, then it would be a problem for us," Clyburn told The Washington Post.

There you have it, the analysis hasn't even been made yet, but the Donks are already fearing that the surge will make them look bad, thus losing power. They don't care that the surge may be saving American lives, they don't care it may be making Iraq more stable. Lives are cheap or of no consequence to them, all they care about is holding onto or gaining more power.

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, sHillary Clinton, Silky Pony Edwards, Hussien Obama, John Muthra are all disgusting human beings, because power is more important than the lives of American soldiers, and the lives of the American people, and they are all Donks.

Is Iraq Another Vietnam?

If you listen to the MSM, Donks and Loony Left, then your answer would be YES!

We have been constantly bombarded by death tolls, speeches stating that we are losing, that it is quagmire, a civil war, whining that Iraq has nothing to do with hunting down terrorists and that it is all a waste of time and lives. And Americans are starting to believe this tripe.

Is Iraq another Vietnam?

I am starting to believe that it is. Not for the reasons above, but because we are going to repeat the same mistakes as we did in Vietnam. We are letting the MSM and Left shape the view of what is happening over there. We are not hearing the wonderful progress we have made in not only rebuilding Iraq's infrastructure, but improving it. We are not hearing about the people, their new lives under freedom, not tyranny. We don't get the news on how passive 80% of the country is, how Iraqis are going about their daily business without being bombed or shot at throughout the vast majority of the country. No, all we get is gloom and doom being reported by the world's Left biased MSM and being repeated by the freedom hating Donks.

I believe Iraq is going to be another Vietnam, because America seems posed on pulling out, leaving the people to the throes of the enemy. We will make the same mistake of defunding the war, not supporting the Gov't they have set up for themselves, we will leave them high and dry to be overcome by the enemy and become another hateful Islamic dictatorship like Iran. We are repeating the same mistake of not confronting the enemy where he lives, we are not stopping Iran and Syria from meddling in Iraq, just as we let North Vietnam and the USSR have their way in South Vietnam.

History tends to repeat itself, and the MSM and Left are too stupid to look back and see what the results were after we left Vietnam. Pogroms, purges, re-education camps, and killing fields, that is what happened after the Left pushed America into leaving Vietnam. Hundreds of thousands if not millions again will die because the MSM and Left are so dishonest that they will not admit what they did to the people of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

I love America, but am disgusted with it's people and politicians, because they have no guts, and are too stupid to look back at the past and are willing to repeat it.

KUWAIT CITY – Seventy percent of foreign insurgents arrested in Iraq came from Persian Gulf countries via Syria where they were provided with forged passports, an Iraqi intelligence officer said in a published report Wednesday.

“They, according to their own confessions, gather in mosques in the said (Gulf) states to travel to Syria using their passports, taking with them phone numbers of individuals waiting for them there,” Brig. Gen. Rashid Fleih, the assistant undersecretary for intelligence of Iraq's Interior Ministry, told Kuwait's Al-Qabas daily in an interview.

"This idea of funding our troops every two months is not adequate," Bush said on Thursday. The president already has vetoed one war funding bill because it set a deadline to begin pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq.

Two Republicans (Reps. Wayne Gilchrest of Maryland and Walter Jones of N.C.) voted with 219 Democrats to pass the partial-war-funding bill. The final tally was 221-205. Ten Democrats voted against the bill.

America wants to win, we want a stable Iraq in that region of the world and we want to kill as many terrorists as possible. But the Donks are trying their hardest to derail these goals, they want to lose, they don't care about the troops and all they really care about is power for themselves and to look good for their Leftard base.

President Bush did the right thing in vetoing Congresses Surrender Bill, and his admonishment of Congress was well said and needed saying.

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush vetoed legislation to pull U.S. troops out of Iraq Tuesday night in a historic showdown with Congress over whether the unpopular and costly war should end or escalate.

"This is a prescription for chaos and confusion and we must not impose it on our troops," Bush said in a nationally broadcast statement from the White House. He said the bill would "mandate a rigid and artificial deadline" for troop pullouts, and "it makes no sense to tell the enemy when you plan to start withdrawing."

Bush said Democrats had made a political statement by passing anti-war legislation. "They've sent their message, and now it's time to put politics behind us and support our troops with the funds," the president said.

He said the need to act is urgent because without a war-funding bill, the armed forces will have to consider cutting back on buying or repairing equipment.

"Our troops and their families deserve better, and their elected leaders can do better," Bush said.

"Whatever our differences, surely we can agree that our troops are worthy of this funding and that we have a responsibility to get it to them without further delay," the president said.

The Donks don't care about the troops, they just care about power, they don't care about America, they just care about what they think makes them look good to their Leftard base. And the President said it plain and simple "They've sent their message, and now it's time to put politics behind us and support our troops with the funds"

And the Dirty Donks' response:

Democrats accused Bush of ignoring American's desire to stop the war, which has claimed the lives of more than 3,350 members of the military.

"The president wants a blank check," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., moments after Bush's appearance. "The Congress is not going to give it to him." She said Congress would work with him to find common ground but added that there was "great distance" between them on Iraq.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Bush has an obligation to explain his plan for responsibly ending the war.

"If the president thinks by vetoing this bill, he'll stop us from working to change the direction of the war in Iraq, he is mistaken," Reid said.

And where the Donks get the idea that Americans want the war in Iraq stopped? Yes, Americans are tired of this war, but all opinion polls show that they don't want to just surrender to terrorists, they want Iraq to be stable and to be able to defend themselves.

To the Donks it's just surrender and ignore the consequences. Thank God we have a President that has the cojones to not put up the white flag the Donks keep waving in his face.

A Friend Tells You What You Need to Hear, Not What You Want to Hear

And that friend is Australia's PM John Howard who is saying that America is weakening in the War on Terrorism.

The US Congress' vote to push for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq was wrong and will bring comfort to Al-Qaeda insurgents, Australian Prime Minister John Howard said Friday.

"I think it is wrong, and I don't think it is doing anything other than giving great comfort and encouragement to Al-Qaeda and the insurgency in Iraq," Howard said.

"They are looking at all this, they read newspapers, they see it on television and they say, 'The American domestic resolve is weakening, therefore we should maintain our resolve.'

Howard has it right, the Donks, with their Surrender policy, is enabling our enemies to fight harder because they think we are going to pull out.

Never in the history of the United States has a Congress repealed authorization for war, but that is what the Donks want to do now.

Senate Democratic leaders intend to unveil a plan next week to repeal the 2002 resolution authorizing the war in Iraq in favor of narrower authority that restricts the military's role and begins withdrawals of combat troops.

House Democrats have pulled back from efforts to link additional funding for the war to strict troop-readiness standards after the proposal came under withering fire from Republicans and from their party's own moderates. That strategy was championed by Rep. John P. Murtha (D-Pa.) and endorsed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

"I've had enough of 'nonbinding,' " said Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), who is helping to draft the new Democratic proposal. The 2002 war resolution, he said, is an obvious target.

"The authorization that we gave the president back in 2002 is completely, completely outdated, inappropriate to what we're engaged in today," he said.

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) began calling for a reauthorization of the war early last month and raised it again last week, during a gathering in the office of Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.). Participants included Kerry, Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl M. Levin (Mich.), Charles E. Schumer (N.Y.), Jack Reed (R.I.) and Russell Feingold (Wis.). Those Democratic senators have emerged as an unofficial war council representing the caucus's wide range of views.

Defeatism, Cut'n'Run, Wimping Out, whatever you call it, that is what the Donks are trying to do. When President Bush asked for authorization to begin a war in Iraq, he overwhelmingly received it. But now after years of the anti-American Leftards screaming in their ears, the power hungry Donks are taking the cowardly and dangerous way out, with this idea of resending Congress' authorization.

Do Americans Really Want to Win in Iraq?

The War in Iraq has been going on for 4 years, and if you get your news from the MSM, then all you know about it is that Americans are dying daily (just check the daily death count), it's a quagmire, Iraqis are in middle of a civil war, and we can't win.

Vice President Dick Cheney said on Wednesday the United States wants to finish its mission in Iraq and "return with honor", despite the war's growing unpopularity at home and doubts among U.S. allies.

This is what truly needs to be done, finish the job, enable the Iraqis to take care of themselves and return with honor and pride of the mission completed.

"The idea of pulling back from Iraq is not where the majority of Americans are." By a 53 percent to 46 percent margin, respondents surveyed said that "Democrats are going too far, too fast in pressing the president to withdraw troops from Iraq." "How Americans view the war does not line up with the partisan messages or actions coming out of Washington," said Davis Lundy, president of the Moriah Group, which commissioned the survey. "There are still a majority of Americans out there who want to support the president and a focused effort to define and achieve victory."

The answer is YES! The American public are not the dumb sheeple that the Leftards think they are, they understand the mission and goal of stopping terrorism. So despite the anti-American propaganda being pumped out on NBC-CBS-ABC-CNN airwaves, Americans want to win.

I Am DISGUSTED with Idiot Americans with Short Memories

I don't want to see Iraq turn into another Vietnam in which America left a country high and dry to be overran by the enemy, but that is what the Leftard Donks want. And afterwards, America was the laughing stock of the world because we Cut'n'Run. Sound familiar? It should because that is exactly what we are going through right now. Why do you think that the Islamic Terrorists are attacking us? Because thy perceive, and rightly so, that we don't have the stomach to fight them.

Cut'n'Running will not help anything, it will weaken Iraq, enable Iran and Islamic Terrorists, and endanger America. America's short memory of the humiliation of Vietnam is going to get us hurt, it is cheapening the lives lost by our soldiers in Iraq, and it will enable Terrorists to attack Western civilization.

I am throughly disgusted with the Donk politicians that are pushing for the premature exit in Iraq because of pure politics, to appease their lefty voters, they have no conscience, they don't care what happens to Iraq or America, they just want the power these lefties give them. The Execution of a Madman

It is over, done with, finis, Saddam has been hanged for his brutal crimes against his own people. He was fairly tried in a court of his peers, found guilty, sentenced to death, lost his appeal, and the sentence was carried out, all done by the people he subjugated.

But if you listen to the MSM and Leftards, you would think that America was the puppet-master in killing of Saddam.

al-Reuters has a picture of the dead Saddam with the caption of:

"...Saddam Hussein went to the gallows before sunrise Saturday, executed by vengeful countrymen after a quarter-century of remorseless brutality that killed countless thousands..."

That wasn't vengeance, it was justice, he was properly tried and found guilty. If it was vengeance, there would have been no trial.

But the all have one thing in common, they respect Saddam for standing up to President Bush, in their twisted and evil minds anyone that does this is a hero. How can anyone make a hero out of Saddam Hussein?

But what really matters is what the response by the Iraqi people was:

Saddam is now in the garbage of history to take his place with Pol Pot, Stalin and Hitler, a brutal tyrant that cared nothing for his people, just for power and money.

Is This Idea Too Inhumane?

Saddam Husein slaughtered thousands of Iraqis and dumped their bodies into unmarked graves. Saddam's defense shysters want Saddam's body given over to his family after his death, but I say dumping him into an unmarked grave is a fitting place for his corpse.

Is that thought too inhumane?

Bassam al-Husseiny said he receives eight to 10 phone calls a day, and 20 to 30 e-mails by those who want the assignment. The interested Iraqis, he said, come from all three of the country's major religions and ethnicities and from high-level government officials to "the tea boy."

One of those interested, a Shiite Muslim named Abdul, said there is not a house in Iraq that has not held a funeral because of Hussein. He explained that he is "not the only one" who wants to execute the former dictator.

There are no benefits with the job, other the satisfaction of being to one to send Saddam to hell, and knowing that he has paid for his crime by hanging from his neck until DEAD.
