History DOES Repeat Itself

The saying is that history repeats itself, and that smart people remember their history lessons while the idiots are doomed to repeat history. And that is exactly what we are going through again with the War on Terrorism. Not only are we repeating the Vietnam War, but we are repeating the scenario of WWII. Thank to a commenter of mine, MM, who sent me a link to a commentary by Raymond S Kraft titled "HOW WE WOULD REACT TO BEING TAKEN OVER BY FOREIGNERS IN 2007?", I can see a lot of parallels between the today and the late 30's America. Kraft also delves into what it will take to win the war and achieve peace in the Middle-East.

Read it, it's worth your time.
