The French Connection

The Washington Times Reporter bill Gertz has a nice little expose` on the French and their connection to Saddam. He also reports that the French were supplying arms to Saddam as America was gearing up for war against him.
Here are some nice little tidbits from his article, but read the whole thing:

New intelligence revealing how long France continued to supply and arm Saddam Hussein's regime infuriated U.S. officials as the nation prepared for military action against Iraq.

The intelligence reports showing French assistance to Saddam ongoing in the late winter of 2002 helped explain why France refused to deal harshly with Iraq and blocked U.S. moves at the United Nations.

"No wonder the French are opposing us," one U.S. intelligence official remarked after illegal sales to Iraq of military and dual-use parts, originating in France, were discovered early last year before the war began.

I have been calling the France a "Nation of Whores" for decades, because they would sell anything, including their grandmothers and Sisters, to make a buck. This nice article, vindicates my assessment. These back-stabbing, smelly, "Allies" continued to sell Saddam weapons that would be used against American Soldiers in Iraq. I say we need to formulate a very strong response to this. Like maybe cutting off Chiraq's supply of Viagra? how about sending France a miniture Statue of Liberty, flipping the Bird? or better yet, Nuke the Eiffel Tower. This can not be ignored, a response is needed. And it is needed NOW, so they will know that America will not tolerate it's "Allies" feeding arms to the enemy.

For now on, France will be known as FOAD.
