Do Americans Really Want to Win in Iraq?
The War in Iraq has been going on for 4 years, and if you get your news from the MSM, then all you know about it is that Americans are dying daily (just check the daily death count), it's a quagmire, Iraqis are in middle of a civil war, and we can't win.
The Donks and Leftards are constantly bombarding the MSM and anyone that will listen that we can't win, and we should pull out now, without finishing what we started, leaving the Iraqis high and dry to be harassed by its neighbors Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia. Their opposition has really nothing to do with the small numbers of Americans that have died in Iraq, this opposition is because Bush took us there, and they HATE Bush, thus they hate the war. The Donks and Leftards are really more interested in making President Bush look bad than they are protecting America from further attacks by Terrorists, they are more interested in power than protecting their families, and they are more interested in HATE than they are the love of their fellow Americans.
Yesterday, VP Dick Cheney stated the Bush Administration's position very well when he said:
This is what truly needs to be done, finish the job, enable the Iraqis to take care of themselves and return with honor and pride of the mission completed.
So with the MSM and anti-American Leftards daily bombardment, do Americans want to win in Iraq?
The answer is YES! The American public are not the dumb sheeple that the Leftards think they are, they understand the mission and goal of stopping terrorism. So despite the anti-American propaganda being pumped out on NBC-CBS-ABC-CNN airwaves, Americans want to win.

The survey was conducted nationwide by Public Opinion Strategies (POS) February 5-7 among a bi-partisan cross-section of 800 registered voters. "The survey shows Americans want to win in Iraq, that they understand Iraq is the central point in the war against terrorism and they can support a U.S. strategy aimed at achieving victory," said Neil Newhouse, a partner in POS. "The idea of pulling back from Iraq is not where the majority of Americans are." By a 53 percent to 46 percent margin, respondents surveyed said that "Democrats are going too far, too fast in pressing the president to withdraw troops from Iraq." "How Americans view the war does not line up with the partisan messages or actions coming out of Washington," said Davis Lundy, president of the Moriah Group, which commissioned the survey. "There are still a majority of Americans out there who want to support the president and a focused effort to define and achieve victory."
