Speaking to a sympathetic audience of more than 400 people at U.C. Berkeley on Monday, University of Colorado Professor Ward Churchill said that his comment characterizing World Trade Center workers as "little Eichmanns" has been widely distorted.

Ward Churchill reminds me of a turd that just won't flush down the toilet. You just can't get rid of him, and he keeps popping up and making a stink. Ward has got to go.

How can Kofi Annon maintain his position as Sec General of the UN when every day new evidence appears that implicates him in the Oil-for-Food Scandal or being part of the cover-up. And he definitely is part of the cover-up, otherwise why would his Chief-of-Staff shred documents related to the program?

KOFI ANNAN faced growing pressure to stand down as UN Secretary-General yesterday when an independent inquiry into the Iraq Oil-for-Food scandal found that UN documents were shredded in a possible cover-up.

The investigation found that Iqbal Riza, Mr Annan’s chief of staff, ordered the shredding the day after the Security Council approved the inquiry last April, and the shredding continued until the week of December 7.

The documents covered the crucial period from 1997 to 1999, when the Swiss company that employed Mr Annan’s son, Kojo, as a consultant was awarded a lucrative UN border-inspection contract in Iraq.

Ten days before the shredding, Mr Riza had sent the heads of nine UN-related agencies a directive asking them to “take all necessary steps to collect, preserve and secure all files, records and documents . . . relating to the Oil-for-Food programme”.

Paul Volcker, who led the inquiry, said: “Whether that material contained any evidence that we did not otherwise get from UN files more generally is, of course, not known.”

The possible cover-up adds a new dimension to a scandal that has tarnished the reputation of the UN and dozens of politicians and prominent figures who allegedly received favours from Saddam Hussein. It comes at a time when the UN is also under fire for sexual abuse by its peacekeepers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and sexual harassment and mismanagement by senior staff.

If Kofi had nothing to hide or knew nothing of the impropriety that was going on, then why was HIS Cief of Staff shredding documents? This needs to be answered and answered truthfully by Kofi. I personally think he is up to his neck in the scandal and he is just trying to cover his butt. He needs to go, and a bunch of other before the UN gets any kind of credibility back, and that will take a long time in coming.

Anti-Gays Not Allowed to Speak in School

Since when is a student not allowed to voice their opinion in an open forum? Well according to this School, they can't during a "diversity" training session.

In its mandatory "diversity training" classes, a school district has instructed students who believe homosexual behavior is wrong to keep their opinions to themselves, prompting a federal lawsuit.

The Arizona-based Alliance Defense Fund filed a motion for preliminary injunction yesterday to immediately prohibit the Boyd County, Kentucky, Board of Education from restricting the free-speech rights of its students.

The training itself began as a result of the settlement of another lawsuit filed against the board by the Boyd County High School Gay-Straight Alliance, represented by the American Civil Liberties Union.

"The school district is attempting to change the beliefs of students without their parents' consent," Theriot said. "The provisions of any settlement arrangement must respect the constitutional rights of students."

All middle and high school students in Boyd County schools are required to attend the special training.

So the School district has been forced to hold "training" sessions to promote the pro-Gay agenda, but students that believe homosexuality is wrong, can't speak out against it. Talk about BS and supression of the Freedom of Speech, if there is no discussion about the topic, then it is force feeding of the topic, and that is the wrong topic to force upon kids. If the Gays want acceptance, they should allow free discourse and not try to shovel it down kids throat, to acheive acceptance, you need to allow the other person to see it from your point of view, not just brainwashing. I am glad that the Alliance Defense Fund is filing suit on this, because schools have no right to force Homosexuality down anyones throat.

The Muslim group CAIR is all in a tither about some books that the Natianl Review are promoting.

CNSNews.com) - A Muslim civil rights group is urging the Boeing Company to stop running ads in the conservative National Review magazine. The Council on American-Islamic Relations objects to the National Review's promotion of books that "attack Islam and the Prophet Muhammad." Those books include "The Life and Religion of Mohammed," which, according to the magazine's review, exposes the "ugly truth about the founder of the world's most violent religion"; and "The Sword of the Prophet," which "gives the unvarnished, 'politically incorrect' truth about Islam -- including the shocking facts about its founder, Mohammed; its rise through bloody conquest; its sanctioning of theft, deceit, lust and murder." In a letter to Boeing CEO James A. Bell, CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad "respectfully" requested that Boeing "address the concerns of Muslims worldwide by withdrawing its advertising support from a magazine that actively promotes anti-Muslim hate." Awad said a copy of the letter would be sent to ambassadors of Muslim and Arab nations in Washington, D.C. Boeing does business with Arab-owned airlines.

The Colorado Supreme Court has overturned a convicted killer's death sentence because jurors brought Bibles into the jury room and wrote down and quoted passages from the Old Testament during deliberations.

Robert Harlan will serve life in prison without parole after being convicted and sentenced to death in 1995 for the kidnapping, murder and rape of a 25-year-old woman and the attempted murder of a woman who came to her aid.

The jury recommended the death penalty, but defense attorneys challenged the sentence after discovering several of the jurors brought Bibles into the jury room.

The defense argued allowing jurors to refer to religious works while deliberating was improper because they are not part of Colorado law, the Associated Press reported.

Two Old Testament verses from Leviticus were particularly problematic, claimed the defense. One read, ''fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, as he has caused disfigurement of a man, so shall it be done to him.'' The other: ''Whoever kills an animal shall restore it, but whoever kills a man shall be put to death.''

Adams County District Judge John J. Vigil, who admitted Harlan's crimes ''were among the most grievous, heinous and reprehensible'' he had ever seen, ruled the death penalty ''must be imposed in a constitutional manner'' and vacated the sentence.

The state of Colorado then appealed the ruling to the state Supreme Court.

''The Supreme Court finds that it can no longer say the death penalty verdict was not influenced by passion, prejudice or any other arbitrary factor,'' the court said in a 47-page ruling.

The Colorado Supreme Court needs to be impeached!!Why was it wrong of the juror to bring a Bible into the deliberation room and read it? Since when can't a juror use a book with Morals and Values as a guide in making a decision? It is not like she brought in a newspaper or magazine with the case written about in it, she brought in a Bible!! There needs to be further appeals on the Colorado Supreme Court's decision, because it is just plain WRONG!!

The Leftist Led Canadian Gov't in for a Fall

The Lefties in the Canadian Gov't signed the Kyoto Extortions, I mean Protocols, and now they are trying to find a way to implement it, and the Conservatives are pissed at their slimey actions.

OTTAWA (CP) - Conservative Leader Stephen Harper angrily vowed Thursday to vote against Kyoto-related provisions in a Liberal money bill, setting up a game of chicken that could bring a snap election no party claims to want.

Harper accused the Liberals of seeking "unlimited power to implement Kyoto without ever bringing a plan to Parliament. "This is a back door way . . . a dangerous way of proceeding, and it will certainly not have the support of this party," he told the Commons after a bill implementing provisions of the budget was introduced.

NDP Leader Jack Layton and Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe both said they would vote against the bill even though they support the Kyoto treaty, because they disagree with the budget as a whole.

If all three opposition parties vote against it, the government could fall.

The sticking point for the Tories is a proposed revision of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act to remove the word "toxic" from key provisions.

That would make it possible to regulate greenhouse emissions - such as carbon dioxide - under the act even though they are not toxic.

Harper says that revision was not mentioned in the budget that won tacit Conservative support when the Liberals tabled it in February. The Liberals say the budget did promise regulations to cut greenhouse emissions even though it didn't mention the environmental protection act.

Harper said his party will vote against the amendments, and it will be up to Prime Minister Paul Martin to decide if he considers that a matter of confidence on which the government would fall.

This is about the Left doing what they want, pulling a little Backdoor fast one and the Right saying "No Way Hoser!" It would serve the Left right if the Gov't did fall and a new election was needed. The Left is full of Slime, Cheaters and Stealers, and shouldn't be in charge of any Gov't. Can't trust the Left, not even with a Canadian dime.

According to a Palewhinian Scholar, the US will be wiped out in 2007 by a big Tsunami.

A thorough analysis of the Koran reveals that the US will cease to exist in the year 2007, according to research published by Palestinian scholar Ziad Silwadi.

The study, which has caught the attention of millions of Muslims worldwide, is based on in-depth interpretations of various verses in the Koran. It predicts that the US will be hit by a tsunami larger than that which recently struck southeast Asia.

"The tsunami waves are a minor rehearsal in comparison with what awaits the US in 2007," the researcher concluded in his study. "The Holy Koran warns against the Omnipotent Allah's force. A great sin will cause a huge flood in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans."

His fear, he said, is that the world economy, which relies heavily on the US dollar, would be deeply affected by the collapse of the US.

"It would be fair to say that the world would be better off with a US that is not a superpower and that does not take advantage of weak nations than a world where this country does not exist at all," he added."The world will certainly lose a lot if and when this disaster occurs because of the great services that American society has rendered to the economy, industry and science."

Silwadi said his study of the Koran showed that the US would perish mainly because of its great sins against mankind, including the Native Americans and blacks.

Guess what Mr Silwadi, my Bible says that everyone, except Christian believers, are going to be destroyed in the future also, but it doesn't say when. Many scholars have tried, and failed, to predict the end of the world, and it's still here. And it was real nice of Mr Silwadi to be concerned about us, because what his predicted evestation of the US, will have on the world economy. I am so sure that this "prediction" is wrong, that I am going to put MORE money into my retirement fund, because I believe it and the US are going to be here after 2007.

There is Going to be a Showdown in the Arizona Desert

NACO, Ariz. -- Members of a violent Central America-based gang have been sent to Arizona to target Minuteman Project volunteers, who will begin a monthlong border vigil this weekend to find and report foreigner sneaking into the United States, project officials say.

James Gilchrist, a Vietnam veteran who helped organize the vigil to protest the federal government's failure to control illegal immigration, said he has been told that California and Texas leaders of Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, have issued orders to teach "a lesson" to the Minuteman volunteers.

"We're not worried because half of our recruits are retired trained combat soldiers," Mr. Gilchrist said. "And those guys are just a bunch of punks."

More than 1,000 volunteers are expected to take part in the Minuteman vigil, which will include civilian patrols along a 20-mile section of the San Pedro River Valley, which has become a frequent entry point to the United States for foreigner headed north.

Many of the Minuteman volunteers are expected to be armed, although organizers of the border vigil have prohibited them from carrying rifles. Only those people with a license to carry a handgun will be allowed to do so, Mr. Gilchrist said.

So Jose Vato, that grew up on the streets of LA, is going to try to to teach "a lesson" to the Minuteman volunteers. I have a feeling that when this is all said and done, the desert coyotes are going to have full stomachs and the MS-13 is going to be down on members. Tramping through the desert at night is not like walking an alley in LA looking to score some crack, they are in for a rude awakening. And I hope these Gang Bangers get their asses handed to them for messing with Honest AMERICAN citizens just trying to protect their homeland. Or maybe the Stupidos will mistake the Hippie lawyers for Minutemen, and go after them. If the Gov't would do something about the border crossings, then citizens wouldn't have to. But since the Gov't is ignoring the issue, Arizonans are having to put their asses on the line. This is a bad situation, and I don't see it getting any better, until the Gov't gets the Cojones to do the right thing and protect our borders.

The State Dept. is suppose to follow the agenda of the Administration, not what they want to do. Maybe someone forgot to tell the Ambassador to Pakistan or she is being a typical Foggy Bottom Dimwit and does what she wants.

WASHINGTON - A lone U.S. ambassador compromised America's hunt for Osama bin Laden in Pakistan for more than two years, The New York Sun has learned.

Ambassador Nancy Powell, America's representative in Pakistan, refused to allow the distribution in Pakistan of wanted posters, matchbooks, and other items advertising America's $25 million reward for information leading to the capture of Mr. bin Laden and other Al Qaeda leaders.

Instead, thousands of matchbooks, posters, and other material - printed at taxpayer expense and translated into Urdu, Pashto, and other local languages - remained "impounded" on American Embassy grounds from 2002 to 2004, according to Rep. Mark Kirk, Republican of Illinois.

Mr. Kirk discovered Ms. Powell's unusual order in January 2004 and, over the past year, launched a series of behind-the-scenes moves that culminated in a blunt conversation with President Bush aboard Air Force One, the removal of the ambassador, and congressional approval for reinvigorating the hunt for Mr. bin Laden.

Ms. Powell took it upon herself, NOT to distribute the Osama bin Laden "Wanted" material, thus HELPING Bin Laden stay hidden. This sounds kinda like treason to me, or am I being overly extreme? When you disobey the Adminstration, and DO NOT allow the material to be distributed, you have in affect hindered, knowingly, our efforts to apprehend the World's #1 Terrorist, and so you've helped the enemy. Yep, Treason, and she needs to pay for it instead of just being "reassigned". The Liberals and appeaseniks that populate the State Dept., need to go, because they are knowingly twarting America's efforts in the War on Terrorism.

What is with the West Bank of Israel that all the world Gov'ts think that it is sacred or something. Every time Israel plans a new settlement in it, the EU and America go crazy. Here is the EU's responce to Israels recent plan to expand:

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Union (news - web sites)'s foreign policy chief has accused Israel of breaching the international community's "road map" for Middle East peace by moving to expand the biggest settlement in the occupied West Bank.

"The High Representative expresses his concern after the Israeli decision to issue building permits for the E1 project in Maaleh Adumim," the EU's Javier Solana said in a statement issued late on Thursday.

"This decision contravenes the commitment of the parties to abstain from any unilateral measure that could affect the final settlement as the Quartet recalled in London on March 1," he said, referring to the group of international mediators -- the United States, Russia, the EU and the United Nations (news - web sites).

The EU expected Israel to respect its obligations under the "road map," which included a freeze on Jewish settlements in occupied territories, Solana said.

The peace plan, adopted in 2003, provides for reciprocal steps by the Israelis and the Palestinians, leading to the creating of a provisional Palestinian state.

Israel is supposed to halt all settlement activity in the first phase, in return for security measures to end violence which new Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is implementing.

LOS ANGELES -- Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Israel's plans to expand a West Bank settlement was "at odds with American policy" and could threaten peace with the Palestinians, marking her sharpest attack of Israel since taking office, it was reported Friday.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Rice said the Israeli plan to add 3,500 housing units to the Maale Adumim settlement east of Jerusalem were "not really a satisfactory response."

I don't care what any Gov't says, the West Bank is part of Israel, and they are not going to give it up. Yes, they made give part of it up to the undeserving Palestinians for their own "state", but the rest is theirs to do as they want. Does Palestine think it should own all of it? If that is the case, then they are dreaming, because it will not happen. There will never be peace with Palestine, because they will always want more land and they think they should own all of Israel, not just a small portion. This attitude of everyone that the West Bank should not be settled upon by Israel is dangerous and is a time bomb, because it creats an illusion of "land for peace" and so far the Palestinians have not lived up to there end of the bargain for any extended period of time. The reality should be that Israel will set aside a walled in portion of the West Bank and say to Palestine "if you are good boys and girls for 6 mths, you can have this, and NO MORE!" The West Bank is Israels, they won it in '67, and they can what they want with it, and to hell with everyone else. And that goes for all of Jerusalem also.

Insurgency in Iraq Coming to an End

This is great news for America and Iraq, the insurgents are losing and know it, thus they are seeking terms.

Many of Iraq's predominantly Sunni Arab insurgents would lay down their arms and join the political process in exchange for guarantees of their safety and that of their co-religionists, according to a prominent Sunni politician.

Sharif Ali Bin al-Hussein, who heads Iraq's main monarchist movement and is in contact with guerrilla leaders, said many insurgents including former officials of the ruling Ba'ath party, army officers, and Islamists have been searching for a way to end their campaign against US troops and Iraqi government forces since the January 30 election.

“Firstly, they want to ensure their own security,” says Sharif Ali, who last week hosted a pan-Sunni conference attended by tribal sheikhs and other local leaders speaking on behalf of the insurgents.

Insurgent leaders fear coming out into the open to talk for fear of being targeted by US military or Iraqi security forces' raids, he said.

Sharif Ali distinguishes many Sunni insurgents, whom he says took up arms in reaction to the invasive raids in search of Ba'athist leaders and other “humiliations” soon after the 2003 war, from the radical jihadist branch associated with Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

Unlike Mr Zarqawi's followers, who are thought to be responsible for the big suicide bomb attacks on Iraqi civilian targets, the other Sunni insurgents are more likely to plant bombs and carry out ambushes against security forces and US troops active near their homes.

Sharif Ali said the success of Iraq's elections dealt the insurgents a demoralising blow, prompting them to consider the need to enter the political process.

The real Iraqi insurgents, unlike Zarqawi's terrorists, want to be part of Iraq and it's Gov't. They have come to realize that if you want a say in governing, you must lay aside the violence and talk. Note how it was the Election that cause them to realize that they were wrong in trying to cause change through violence, and that not being part of the Gov't has left them out in the cold. If they do come in peacefully, then all that will be left is foreign terrorists that are in Iraq to cause trouble and kill Americans. This may be the turning point for Iraqi's violence, because the Iraqi people are now starting to get fed up with the violence against them by foreign terrorists, and they themself may kick them out. Pray that the current Iraqi Gov't deals fairly with these Iraqi insurgents, because Iraq needs the peace.

I haven't said much about the UN lately, because most of the news about them, I just shake my head and know it is business as usual. But this piece is too much to pass up, the UN is going reimburse the Oil-for-Food crooks from money set aside for Iraq.

UNITED NATIONS —- The United Nations agreed to reimburse Benon Sevan, the suspended head of the U.N. Oil-for-Food program in Iraq, for legal fees he incurred during an investigation into allegations of fraud in the operation, a U.N. official said Tuesday.

Payment for Sevan's legal fees was to come out of the account containing the 2.2 percent of Iraqi oil revenues from the $64 billion program earmarked for its administration, U.N. spokesman Fred Eckhard said.

Sevan's fees are to be reimbursed with Iraqi oil funds set aside to help administer the program. That means Iraq oil money would essentially pay for Sevan to defend himself against charges that he bilked the program.

Excuse Me!! The guy is a crook!! Why does the UN think he deserves any reimbursement? Especially money from the same fund he bilked millions out of. Bad move on the UN's part, they should have tossed Sevan's butt on onto the street with nothing except a lawsuit against his criminal actions. Leave it to the UN to pay a crook off with money from the bank he robbed.

And in other UN news, the Oil-for-Food-and-the-Iraqi-people-starve-while-Chirac-and-UN-crooks-make-money Scandal report is coming out, and Kofi is not let off the hook.

An investigative panel probing the United Nations' oil-for-food program in Iraq will for the first time directly fault Secretary-General Kofi Annan for management lapses involving his son and a controversial contractor, according to people who have seen the contents of the panel's report.

Moreover, the panel, appointed by Mr. Annan and headed by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, will criticize Mr. Annan for failing to spot or take action to correct systemic failures in the U.N.'s internal bureaucracy that allowed problems inside the program to continue until 2003, these people said. The report is set to be released Tuesday.

Mr. Annan is particularly criticized for failing to pay enough attention to conflicts of interest involving his son, Kojo, who worked as a consultant for a Swiss company, Cotecna Inspection Services SA, that was seeking lucrative U.N. contracts, these people said.

At the same time, the panel has concluded that there is no evidence Mr. Annan rigged the U.N.'s procurement system in the oil-for-food program, exerted undue influence over contractors or ever sought or received improper financial benefits, these people said.

The bottom line is that the program was tainted by crooks making deals with Saddam and the crooks padding their Swiss Bank accounts. The report and investigation is all good and fine, BUT, will the crooks be made to pay the money back? I think that it will not happen, they will get a slap on the wrist, a scolding and allowed to keep their MILLIONS, which should be Iraq's. Also any good leader would quit if this kind of scandal happened on his watch, but will Kofi quit, I don't think so. I think it will be business as usual again at the UN, appeasing, raping and stealing.

CHICAGO -- There may be more liberal blogs than conservative ones on the Internet, but the conservatives appear to be much more adept at employing the technology of the medium to market their message and influence public opinion, experts told UPI's The Web.

Take last year's presidential election. Research shows conservatives used the blogs -- a contraction for the term, Web logs -- to talk down Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry on the Internet, perhaps making themselves one of the decisive factors in the November election's outcome.

"Who were the bloggers writing about?" asks the new report, "The Political Blogosphere and the 2004 U.S. Election: Divided They Blog, from Intelliseek's BlogPulse project." It answers its own question, "Curiously, 59 percent of the mentions of John Kerry came from right-leaning bloggers, while 53 percent of the mentions of George W. Bush came from left-leaning bloggers."

The study was conducted by Natalie Glance of Intelliseek, a marketing intelligence firm in Cincinnati, and Lada Adamic of HP Labs, the main laboratory for Hewlett-Packard in Palo Alto, Calif. It showed that of the 1,494 most influential blogs, during the two months leading up to the election, 759 were liberal in worldview, while 735 were conservative. The conservatives, however, showed a "greater tendency" to link to other blogs than did the liberals -- on average 15.1 links per conservative blog to 13.6 for the liberals. That made them more powerful agents of persuasion.

"We've been looking at blogs for about a year," Glance said. "There was some hope that the blogosphere would help bridge the different opinions in America, but what we are seeing is in an election year, it was divisive online and there was a strong tendency for separation of differences."

Conservative blogs apparently were the most influential sites, generating huge flows of traffic to right-leaning news organizations, such as the National Review magazine and Fox News television. The bloggers' links also pushed up the readership numbers for publications such as The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal's online Opinion Journal and The Washington Times, Glance said.

Other experts said the trend is likely to continue, and it is starting to shape the way businesses are perceived, too, not just politicians.

The Left may have the numbers. but we have the power and use it efficiently. Just like in America, the Left screams and squeals but there message is one of garbage, were as conservative bloggers are on target and united against a common foe. And as for this little nugget of wisdom - "There was some hope that the blogosphere would help bridge the different opinions in America, but what we are seeing is in an election year, it was divisive online and there was a strong tendency for separation of differences.", what do you expect, conservative bloggers are not swayed by "feelings" nor are we easily led by the Left's lies and talking points, we make mincemeat out of them. This report doesn't see that conservative blogger hold their moral values to higher standards and are not willing to compromise them either, as where the Left's main object is power and they will do anything to obtain it. I foresee this trend to continue through the '08 election and beyond. Conservative bloggers are mostly made up of ordinary people that are tired of being taken advantage of and are voicing their opposition to the decline in America. When principles come into play, we stand behind ours, and that is the way it's going to be.

Florida on the Right Track on Protection of the Home

The Florida Senate just passed a bill which will allow citizens to use deadly force to protect their homes and families.

A bill permitting the use of deadly force during a home invasion or when an individual considers themselves threatened unanimously passed the Florida Senate on Wednesday.

The measure (SB 436) would eliminate criminal penalties for an individual who uses deadly force as self-protection in his home or vehicle and other unspecified circumstances.

The open-ended language on the bill sponsored by Sen. Durell Peaden Jr. concerned some lawmakers.

"Under the wording of this bill, somebody could go onto any of the streets and if they think somebody is walking toward them in a threatening fashion, they can pull out a gun and begin blasting away," said Sen. Steven Geller, D-Hallandale Beach, who sought unsuccessfully to amend the bill on Tuesday.

"We're heading towards a Wild West mentality," Geller said. "I am concerned that you could literally have two guys standing on the street, both of them ready, the guns at their side, and then say 'Well the other guy threatened me so I pulled a gun and shot him in self defense.'"

Peaden, R-Crestview, scoffed at the characterization.

"You have to be within the confines of the dwelling as described in this bill," Peaden said during Wednesday's floor debate. "You just can't shoot anybody on the street and drag 'em in."

Geller said he voted for the bill for political reasons.

"We'd be seen as Democrats soft on crime," he said.

A similar proposal (HB 249) was approved on an 8-2 vote Wednesday by the House Justice Council.

When citizens are allowed to arm and protect themselves, then that is when you will see a drastic reduction in crime. The Left has been stuptified into thinking that restriction of guns is the way to reduce violent crimes, but in fact it is the way to increase them. When a criminal, who has no qualms about using guns violently, knows that a citizen cannot use deadly force against him, he will commit the crime. But if he knows that a citizen CAN protect himself, then the criminal may have second thoughts. We should be allowed to protect ourselves and families against the criminal element that has been growing rapidly in the US, and allowing us to use deadly force is the best way to stop crimes and violence against our families.

Today is Good Friday, the day we honor Jesus' sacrifice for us by dying on the cross for our sins. I had today off, so I relaxed, thought about the impact of Jesus' death on my life and I plan on watching the "Passion" (If you have never seen the movie, I suggest that you do, and today would be the best day to watch it). Today we mourn because of the suffering that Jesus did on our behalf, but Sunday, Easter, we will celebrate because the Grave could not hold Jesus, and with his resurrection we are saved. Mourn today, celebrate Sunday, but ponder on what his will is for us.

Fwance & Germany, Whores For Red China

Fwance and Germany have become the Whores of Europe, they will do anything to make a buck, even sell arms to Red China at the expeince of the rest of the world. But not everyone in Europe is in agreement with these Whores.

BERLIN When a foreign minister from a small country in Europe was asked what he thought about plans by the European Union to end the arms embargo against China, he raised his eyes, sighed and replied, "We are against lifting it."

When asked if he had made this position clear at the regular meetings of EU foreign ministers, he said, 'No.'

"France and Germany are pushing this issue very hard," he added. "Other countries are falling into line.

"We know the Americans hate the idea that Europe is trying to lift the embargo while Britain is trying to tighten the rules for exporting weapons to China if it is lifted. But what can we say? We are a small country."

France and Germany have done most of the running on this issue since late 2003, when the idea to lift the embargo was first raised at an EU summit meeting in Brussels.

At the time, they said that the EU arms embargo imposed on China in response to the massacre of pro-democracy demonstrators near Tiananmen Square in 1989 was no longer relevant. China, they said, was a changed country.

What they did not add, however, was that Beijing had been lobbying both Paris and Berlin, its biggest trading partners in Europe, to end the embargo.

"The embargo was an embarrassment to China," said Gudrun Wacker, director of Asia studies at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs in Berlin. "China was desperate to have it lifted."

Now, France and Germany are leading the way to end an arms embargo against a country that, according to human rights organizations and security experts, violates human rights, is expanding its nuclear capability and threatens its neighbors.

China, for example, has openly threatened, and has a law to justifying, the use of military force against Taiwan in an effort to thwart any independence. It also declined during a meeting of the Parliament to use the opportunity to ratify the United Nations Convention on Civil and Political Rights, a move that might have gone some way in reassuring human rights organizations.

"China made several tactical errors. They lost an opportunity to at least show some good will toward the Europeans," said Adam Ward, a research fellow on Asian security at the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London.

France and Germany argue that over the past 15 years China has changed and its human rights record has improved. Schröder and Chirac say Europe must move on.

A report issued this month by the independent Human Rights Watch has challenged that view. It spelled out how China continued to violate human rights on religious expression, how it coerced defendants to make false confessions, how the media was censored and how the freedom of association and the right to strike was denied.

Human Rights Watch also reported that developers working with local officials to prepare for the 2008 Olympics have used violent evictions of residents in places the Chinese authorities wanted as sites for the Games.

Despite these findings, Javier Solana, the EU foreign policy chief, said this week at the summit meeting in Brussels that it was "not fair" to continue the embargo. Europe needed a strategic partnership with China.

"If that is the case and if Europe does want a strategic partnership with China, then that means the EU should openly discuss China's strategic interests and that includes human rights, censorship, its relations with Taiwan and other issues," said Daniel Keohane, security analyst at the Center for European Reform in London.

Slowly, public opinion in Europe is shifting, becoming increasingly skeptical about the wisdom in lifting the embargo, even if it is replaced by a code of conduct that is supposed to make it more difficult to sell weapons to China.

"By lifting the arms embargo, the Europeans take away the stigma of human rights," said Siemon Wezeman, an arms transfer expert at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. "That is a stigma the Chinese want removed."

Opposition parties, nongovernmental groups and human rights organizations increasingly question why the embargo cannot remain in place, precisely because it was imposed for reasons of human rights. And while these movements continue to oppose what the Bush administration stands for, they agree with the administration that this is not the time to end the embargo against China.

Indeed, for the first time since the Iraqi war, European public opinion is on the side of the Americans.

While Fwance and Germany want to sell out to the ChiComs, the rest of Europe is sceptical, and for good cause. Red China has threatened Taiwan, it still violates Human Rights, and it still has a Communist Government, so why should anything have changed to lift the embargo? Nothing! Fwance and Germany are just in it for the money and to hell with the consequences. Neither Fwance nor Germany deserve to be leaders of the EU, because both are too self-serving to look out for the interests of the rest of Europe, let alone the rest of the world. Besides what do they have to offer? Not a damn thing, their culture is declining, their economies are in shambles, their militaries are a joke, so what do they have? Just old worthless memories and a self-centered agenda. God, save us from Fwance and Germany, because they are BIG cause of the ills of the world.

A Mother is Arrested Trying to Protect Her Daughter

America has taking on a stigma of killing the innocent and those it feels are undeserving to live. The Terri Shaivo case brings alot of the Left's values to the surface. And here is a case of a Mother trying to stop her 14 year old daughter from having an abortion.

GRANITE CITY - A Sothern Illinois woman was arrested last week (March 17) after trying to intervene on behalf of her 14-year old daughter's effort to have an abortion. The girl was allegedly taken to an abortion clinic by the mother of the man allegedly to have impregnated the 14-year old.

According to the girl's mother, her 14-year old daughter was called off from school in Madison County by a woman posing as the girl's “grandmother.” The woman took the girl from her home only minutes before the girl’s mother returned home from work.

It was later determined that the woman who had posed as the "grandmother" to the school authorities was the mother of the male who had fathered the unborn child the 14-year old girl was carrying. The age of the male has not been released.

When the parents were notified their pregnant daughter was not at school, they suspected she had been taken to the Hope Abortion Clinic in Granite City. The parents and grandfather were the only persons authorized to request school absence for the fourteen year old female.

“My husband and I rushed to the abortion clinic where we saw our daughter’s name on the roster and the time she had checked in,” the mother said. She then went into the clinic and searched a room filled with young women awaiting abortions but did not see her daughter.

She took a seat near the main desk and said, “I was told I could not prove my daughter was there so I began calling her name. A medical tech at the clinic told me , ‘It’s your daughter’s rights, it’s her body. You have no rights.’”

After continuing to call out her daughter’s name and telling her “don’t do it,” authorities were called and the mother was arrested.

The 14-year old told her mother she could hear her but when she asked employees to give her mother a message, they came back to the room and told her that her mother had left.

Employees assured this girl on her departure, “No-one will ever know you were here, we’ll bury your records.”

In the meantime, the woman who had taken the girl for the abortion was slipped out the back door of the clinic.

The police in the community in which the family lives allegedly told the girl's mom that they couldn't intervene despite her making a charge that her daughter had been raped (by statute) because the charge was stale--7 weeks after the incident. They did tell the girl's mom that, while she had no right to stop the abortion, she did have a right to go into the clinic and speak to her daughter.

When a Mother of a child is arrested because she wants to stop her daughter from killing a baby, something is wrong in America. The Left and Pro-Choice crowd have no qualms about killing babies, and in fact they are going out of their way to accomblish this genocidal act. A society can be judged by how it treats it's elderly, infirmed, and children. And if we were to be put on trial right now, we would get the death penalty, because of our actions. For too long have we let the Left dictate to us what is right and wrong, and it's time that we reverse this trend and take control of America's values again. It was wrong of this phony grandmother to take this 14 year old to the abortion clinic, it was wrong of the abortion clinic to stop the Mother from seeing her daughter, and it was wrong of America to let this happen. We need to change these wrongs into Rights and save America.

CNN has a "Plan" to Catch Up to Fox

CNN has biting the big one since FoxNews came on the scene, so the new head wanker has a "Plan".

CNN is using new tactics to overtake Fox News – with the battle plan focused on capturing back some of those lost key minutes in prime time.

Here’s the rub:

The average viewer who tunes in to Fox News’ prime-time lineup - including Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity - watches for an average of 26 minutes before switching channels, according to CNN’s internal research and a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

On the other hand, typical viewers tune out CNN’s prime-time hosts - including Aaron Brown, Larry King and Paula Zahn - after just 19 minutes.

That seemingly small gap in average viewing time has become a touchstone for the CNN-versus-Fox ratings war.

- CNN’s average audience between 7 and 11 p.m. is 775,000.

- Fox’s average audience between 7 and 11 p.m. is 2 million.

What is particularly painful is that these same Nielsen Media Research figures – as recently as four years ago – had CNN drawing more viewers than Fox News at night.

Jonathan Klein, the new president of CNN, wants to nudge things back to the halcyon days of yore.

Klein’s goal: to increase the average amount of time viewers spend watching CNN’s prime-time lineup by an average of 30 seconds a month for the next 12 months.

That total gain of just six minutes can have a vital impact - adding more than $10 million to CNN’s annual advertising revenue, which currently rings in at about $440 million.

Meanwhile, Klein scrambles to fulfill his destiny:

- In January he announced the intended cancellation of "Crossfire," with its staple shouting matches between the left and the Right.

- He has honed a personal mantra that the network’s prime-time programs should spend less time reporting the news of the day and more time churning out emotionally gripping, character-driven narratives linked to the news of the day.

- He is encouraging selected reporters to put more of their personalities in their reports.

House Republicans are taking the offensive in the burgeoning ethics war on Capitol Hill by circulating research that details links among Democrats, George Soros and government watchdog groups that have criticized Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) and the House ethics process.

The research shows that members of these groups’ boards have contributed tens of thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates and political organizations and several of their staff members have previously worked for Democrats. The groups have also accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Open Society Institute, an organization founded by Soros, who spent millions trying to defeat President Bush in last year’s election.

The emergence of the detailed research follows talking points that the Republican National Committee (RNC) distributed last week labeling four government watchdog groups as liberal and having “close ties to left wing leaders like George Soros.” Together, the documents indicate a concerted Republican effort to quell what has become a media feeding frenzy surrounding DeLay and allegations of his improper conduct.

Over a five-day span, ending last Thursday, TV and radio stations and print publications from around the country featured at least 290 stories either about a controversial junket he took to Scotland in 2000, his response to criticism about the propriety of that trip or his offer to discuss the matter with the House ethics committee, according to a survey. The articles by The Associated Press, Reuters, Knight Ridder and The Washington Post were picked up by news outlets around the country.

Soros will do anything and spend millions to get his Commie Donk buddies elected and to stab Republicans in the back. Whatever he supports is underhanded, dirty, and full of lies. Appearing on the Fox News Channel's "O'Reilly Factor" Tuesday night, author Humberto Fontova detailed the Castro-loving proclivities of America's literati-glitterati class, as described in his new book, "Fidel: Hollywood's Favorite Tyrant."

Fontova laid the groundwork for why the "Hollywood pinheads," as O'Reilly called them, think Castro is so great: because Castro is "the cool anti-American."

Always wanting to be "hip" and "cool," it comes as no surprise, then, that there is no shortage of Tinseltownwers who have offered bon mots for the brutal dictator:

- Unfunny funnyman Chevy Chase praised Castro's totalitarian brand of governance, noting: "Socialism works. I think Cuba proves that."
- Actor Danny Glover called President Bush "a racist" for not lifting the four-decades-old U.S. trade embargo of Cuba, and signed a letter of support as recently as two weeks ago.
- Jesse Jackson hailed Castro as "the most courageous politician I have ever met" - before raising his arm and yelling, "Viva Fidel!"
- Writer Norman Mailer gushed that Fidel was "the first and greatest hero to appear in the world since the second World War."
- Even airhead supermodel Naomi Campbell cooed that meeting the mass-murdering dictator was "a dream come true."

Jackson's and Glover's support for Castro is particularly offensive, noted Fontova.

"The longest- serving black political prisoner of the last century was not Nelson Mandela," he told O'Reilly. "His name is Eusebio Penalver. He is a Cuban who served his time in Castro's gulag."

There is no accounting for taste or brains in HollyWeird. Most of them are just brainless drones, that are used to people telling them what to do and think. As for being Castro groupies, they are brainless, tasteless and Commies!! To support a Communist Dictator that oppresses his people, keeps them in poverty while he makes millions, and jails anyone that speaks a work of dissent, is outragious and Un-American. Abdullah said Israel should refrain from any immediate retaliation against Palestinian groups if there is indeed a terrorist attack since the likely source would be Syria and Hezbollah.

''King Abdullah warned the meeting about the dangers posed to stability in the region, and Syria and Hezbollah's plans to upset international efforts to have Syria remove its troops [from Lebanon],'' Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, which sent a representative to the meeting, told WND.

That was good of King Abdullah to warn Israel and us about what to expect from the Cowardly Syrians and Terrorists Hezbollah. Maybe if it becomes publically known, the slime dogs will abandon their plans. Both are in a tight place, because they have lost their credibility internationally and within the Arab world, so they plan to lash out against Israel. I hope that they get some nasty phone calls from around the world telling them not to attack Israel, otherwise... I am proud of Jordan's King Abdullah, that took guts for an Arab to warn Israel. The IRS has notified a Liberty City church that it is under investigation for possibly engaging in political activity -- putting its tax-exempt status into question.

The probe is related to an appearance last October by Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry and several black leaders, including U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek of Miami, the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson.

The reason for the investigation, an IRS official wrote in a 10-page letter obtained by The Herald, is that ``a reasonable belief exists that Friendship Missionary Baptist Church has engaged in political activities that could jeopardize its tax-exempt status as a church.''

"Turn Around Is Fair Play" as they say. The group Americans United for Separation of Church and State has been snitching on conservative preachers for a long while, and now the Left is getting a taste of their meddling. Yes, they will scream and rant, and maybe something will get done now they are in the limelight. Iraqis Getting Fed Up With Terrorists

The Iraqi people are tired of being shot at and killed by "Insurgents" and they are starting to fight back.

BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Militants in the northern city of Mosul targeted a U.S. patrol with a roadside bomb Tuesday that killed four civilians, and Baghdad shopkeepers and residents traded gunfire with masked insurgents, killing three of them along a main thoroughfare.

Gunbattles erupted out in the streets of the southern Baghdad neighborhood of Doura, where militants wearing black hoods and riding in three cars opened fire on people shopping on a main street. Shopkeepers and residents returned fire, killing three assailants. A man, woman and child were injured and taken to a hospital.

When the people get fed up with these "Insurgent" terrorists, they will fight back. Then they will start turning the cowards in. This is the only way to fight them, cut off their supplies and hiding spots, and when the Iraqis have had enough, that will start happening. This is another leap forward for the Iraqis to take control of their own country.

It shows how AIR AMERICA executives lied and lied again about not bouncing checks to their Chicago and Los Angeles affiliate owners. [The network was quickly thrown off the stations.]

The film captures AIR AMERICA staff first learning about the Chicago and LA nightmare by reading a DRUDGE REPORT exclusive on their computers.

It shows midday host Al Franken at a staff meeting being told there is no money left, hilariously, just moments after ranting about George Bush's ethics.

The HBO crew is told to shut down their cameras -- but they don't -- and the 'We're Broke!' meeting is filmed raw.

LEFT OF THE DIAL shows an angry meeting of the writing staff being told how money was deducted from their checks to pay for health care -- but the money was never paid to the HMO and they were never covered!

Host Janeane Garofalo looks suicidal in nearly ever scene which she appears.

Hillary Wants Voter Fraud

sHillary is pushing her and Kerry's "Count Every Vote Act of 2005" legislation, which will allow anybody to vote, and that would definitely benefit her.

A bill proposed by Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., would enable anyone to register to vote on election day and cast a ballot without a photo ID, proof of citizenship or other personal identification.

Clinton calls the Count Every Vote Act of 2005 "critical to restoring America's faith in our voting system," but critics see it as an open door to fraud.

In a column in The Hill newspaper, Byron York called the measure "the most wide-ranging assault ever on the idea that there should be minimum enforceable standards for voters."

One section of the bill says each state must allow an individual to register to vote on the day of a federal election and to "have that vote counted in the same manner as a vote cast by an eligible voter who properly registered during the regular registration period."

Another provision says, "Each state and jurisdiction shall accept and process a voter registration application for an election for Federal office unless there is a material omission or information that specifically affects the eligibility of the voter. There shall be a presumption that persons who submit voter registration applications should be registered."

A third section adds, "The following shall not constitute a 'material omission or information that specifically affects the eligibility of the voter': (1) The failure to provide a Social Security number or driver's license number. (2) The failure to provide information concerning citizenship or age in a manner other than" a simple statement that one is a citizen.

She sure does want open the doors for everyone, non-citizens, felons, multiple voting, hell sHillary why don't you just propose legislation which determines the election results ahead of time? Leave it to the Donks and a Clinton to push for Donk Election Stealing and Fraud. They will do anything to win again, even legally steal an election. Just Say No, to sHillary.

A Ukrainian woman has been arrested after she tried to smuggle two bears on board a plane by claiming they were dogs.

Airport officials stopped the woman when they heard noises coming from a box she wanted to carry on as part of her hand luggage.

She then claimed the two animals inside were pet Alsatian puppies that she wanted to take on holiday to Egypt with her.

She acts like a Donk and she LIES like a Donk. I bet she can say with a straight face the following:

Just revealed in a book, Dan Blather was fed questions to ask Commie Juan Miguel (Elian Gonzalez's father).

Could Dan Rather be in trouble again? A new book on Castro tells of a staged Dan Rather interview that was master-minded by a Clinton lawyer.

In Fidel: Hollywood's Favorite Tyrant, author Humberto Fontova reveals for the first time how Dan Rather's "60 Minutes" interview with Juan Miguel (Elian Gonzalez's father) was stage-managed by former Clinton lawyer and friend, Gregory Craig.

According to a Cuban-American translator from the U.S. Treasury Department: "The questions for Juan Miguel were actually fed to Dan Rather by Gregory Craig. After a taping session, Craig would call Dan over, give him some more instructions and exchange papers with him. Then Dan would come back on the set and ask those."

The book reports that during the interview Craig acted like the movie director and even got a bona fide dramatic actor to translate and mouth the responses of Miguel.

I thought Danny Boy was nobody's man. It appears that he followed the party line and asked the party questions. Asking questions to Castro backed Juan Miguel so it would appear that the Donk led Gov't was right in returning Elian Gonzalez to his father and back to Cuba. Just like a real bank account into which we make monetary deposits and from which we make monetary withdrawals, we make moral deposits into and moral withdrawals from our moral bank accounts based on the actions we engage in during our lifetime.

Now, of course, some people make so many withdrawals -- Hitler, for example -- that no imaginable good act they can do will seriously change the balance from extremely negative to positive. But most people need to be assessed based on this bank account analogy....

MSM Bias - Terri Schiavo Poll

When Polls are taken tha results can be very skewed by the wording and bias of the questions, and ABC did just that with a poll on Terri Schiavo.

An ABC News poll reached the surprising conclusion that a majority of Americans think Terri Schiavo's feeding tube should remain out so she can be starved to death, but the question posed by the news network portrayed her as having "no consciousness" and being on "life support," rather than an awake, responsive patient with a feeding tube.

"Schiavo suffered brain damage and has been on life support for 15 years," the poll informed respondents. "Doctors say she has no consciousness and her condition is irreversible. Her husband and her parents disagree about whether she would have wanted to be kept alive. Florida courts have sided with the husband and her feeding tube was removed on Friday. What's your opinion on this case – do you support or oppose the decision to remove Schiavo's feeding tube?"

In response, reported ABC, "the public, by 63 percent-28 percent, supports the removal of Schiavo's feeding tube, and by a 25-point margin opposes a law mandating federal review of her case.

Since to most people, the phrase "no consciousness" suggests a coma and "life support" suggests a ventilator or other machinery, it's not surprising that many Americans – visualizing a comatose woman in a heart-lung machine – would consider Schiavo's life not worth living. The poll question also omits any reference to the fact that Terri's husband, Michael Schiavo, has been living with another woman for years, has sired two children by her, and is waiting for Terri to die so he can marry his girlfriend.

Ah, that sly ABC, biasing the question to give the results that THEY want to see. Why do the MSM and Donks want to see Terri die? Is it a power thing? Or is it advancement on their "Kill the Old, Infirmed and Babies" socialist agenda? Polls are only as good as the questions being asked, and the MSM and Donks are only as good as.... nothing.

Poor Teddy "Let Her Drown" Kennedy, he gets no respect and everyone thinks him the fool. That's because he is. He whined and brayed when President Bush appointed two judges when the obstructionist Donks were out of session, and he took President Bush to Federal Court. Now Teddy must really be crying in his scotch, because the Supreme Court will not hear his case and the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling stands, Teddy loses.

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Supreme Court, dodging a charged dispute over judicial nominations, declined Monday to consider whether President Bush overstepped his bounds in naming a federal judge while Congress was on a short break.

The court refused to hear a trio of cases challenging the "recess appointment" of William Pryor to the Atlanta-based 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals last year. The appeals argued that Pryor's temporary appointment was an end-run around the Senate's right to confirm or reject judicial nominees.

The Constitution gives presidents authority to fill vacancies for a year or two during a Senate "recess." At issue was whether a "recess" means whenever the Senate is not meeting, such as during short intra-session breaks, or only during the Senate's annual adjournment at year's end.

"The president asserts the power to make 'recess appointments' of judges during any break of the Senate - including, literally, even a break for lunch," wrote Thomas Goldstein, a Washington attorney representing Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Massachusetts, in the cases.

Bush administration lawyer Paul Clement countered that it has been long-standing practice for presidents of both parties to make recess appointments, including 12 Supreme Court justices, anytime the Senate is not meeting.

"A recess appointment power that could be freely invoked during a one-day inter-session recess, but would be categorically barred during a three-month intra-session recess, would be 'irrational,"' Clement wrote, noting that intra-session recesses often are one month or more.

Bush named Pryor, a former Alabama attorney general, to the 11th Circuit during a Presidents' Day recess last February, after the Senate refused twice to bring his nomination to a floor vote. The 11th Circuit serves Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

If Teddy and his fellow Donks hadn't used the Senate rules incorrectly, President Bush wouldn't have had to make recess appointments. The way the Donks have been using the filibuster rule is not constitutional, and the "recess appointments" is. The Donks don't like it when the law is used against them, they only like to use the law to obstruct other people's positions. The Donks are losing credibility every day, and by the time the elections of '06 roll around, they will have none.

Dean Off and Running, In the Wrong Direction

Howie has picked up the ball for the Donks, put from what he said, he is running in the wrong direction.

The Toronto Star reports that Dean, in a message to supporters on Sunday, described Republicans as "brain dead," but said eventual Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts lost to President Bush because party leaders and representatives have a "tendency to explain every issue in half an hour of detail."

Dean, in Toronto to address 150 members of the group Democrats Abroad – formed in 1964 to register Americans living out of the country to vote as Democrats – warned, "I'm going to be very disciplined about how we deliver messages."

According to the Star, the one-time Vermont governor added: "We can have policy deliberations in rooms like this. On TV, we have to be very focused."

Republicans, meanwhile, have managed to hone their message expertly, Dean said, noting that his party needs to learn that skill. "The Democrats will have three things, maybe four, that we're going to talk about," he said, according to the paper.

"The Democratic Party will not win elections or build a lasting majority solely by changing its rhetoric, nor will we win by adopting the other side's positions," he said then. "We must say what we mean — and mean real change when we say it."

"The majority is on our side," he told the Toronto gathering. "We need to figure out how to talk differently about these issues."

Howie you may be onto something, picking 3 or 4 issues and explaining what you mean. Like these issues and explanations that the Donks present:

Abortion - For, killing babies and allowing teenage girls to have them, no questions asked.

Taxes - Tax the hell out of everybody and spend it all on worthless social programs.

Gun Control - For, take away everybody's guns, only cops should have guns.

The UN - For it, give away America's sovereignty to the UN, let them make all our foreign policy decisions.

Political Correctness - Limit everybody's Free Speech, so no one's feelings get hurt.

War on Terrorism - Against, we don't want to offend anyone, and that way no one will hurt us.

The Syrians are Getting a Dose of Medicine That They Deserve

Oh the poor Syrians, they are no longer welcome in Lebanon, and they are whining and crying about it.

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) - Osama Muhammad, a Damascus businessman, says he no longer makes the 50-mile trip to Beirut to shop, dine and see movies. He's turned off by the anti-Syrian curses from Lebanese protesters, and the reports of Syrians being murdered.

"I'm boycotting everything Lebanese until my dignity is restored," said Muhammad.

He hasn't been there since a wave of anti-Syrian feeling erupted over the assassination of a popular politician. Hotel executive Imad Mansour did go back, but only to withdraw his life's savings from a Lebanese bank, because he has lost trust in Lebanon's economy.

Many Syrians suddenly feel embittered and insecure in a country where they saw themselves as privileged. During 29 years in control of their tiny neighbor, Syrians looked at Lebanon as an engine of wealth, a place to play and a source of jobs for Syria's many unemployed.

Users, that is what the Syrians were. They overtook a neighboring country, and used it to benefit themselves, not the Lebanese people. And now that they are not welcomed there anymore the "Privileged" are crying about it. Too bad Muhammad, you Syrians should have acted like good neighbors instead of conquerors, raping, pillaging and taking the spoils of your neighboring country. And I have to say is - Whaaaaaaaaaa, Crybabies! And Good Riddance!!

Mexico's President Fox Needs to Take Responsibility

Fox is trying to dump his problem on us, by encouraging his people to jump the border illegally. And now that we are trying to protect our border from his people doing just that, he is whining about it.

MEXICO CITY - Anti-immigrant sentiment appears to be growing in the United States, Mexican President Vicente Fox said Wednesday, and he urged U.S. officials to act quickly to control movements such as the 950-member-strong Minuteman Project on the Mexico-Arizona border.

Mexico's National Human Rights Commission recently issued a warning about several new grass-roots movements inspired by Arizona's Proposition 200. Other Mexican officials have cited the Minuteman Project, a plan by activists to patrol the border during April, as a sign of rising extremism.

"There are signs of these kinds of problems present today, and (they are) progressing," Fox said during a news conference for foreign reporters. "We have to act quickly and on time to prevent these kinds of actions."

He said Mexico is watching the Minuteman Project carefully and will take action in U.S. courts or international tribunals if any of the activists break the law.

"We totally reject the idea of these migrant-hunting groups," Fox said. "We will use the law, international law and even U.S. law to make sure that these types of groups, which are a minority . . . will not have any opportunity to progress."

Excuse me Vinnie, if you would patrol YOUR side of the border and prevent YOUR people from entering the US illegally, then we wouldn't have to have groups like the Minutemen. It's because YOU are encouraging them, and won't deal with YOUR poverty problems, that America is experiencing this problem. So don't give us any of this "We have to act quickly and on time to prevent these kinds of actions." crap, because if YOU would control the problem on YOUR side, we wouldn't have a problem on OUR side. Quit blaming us Vinnie, and take responsibility for the issue. MSM Bias and the Iraqi War

A report just came out that claims that there was no real Iraqi War bias by the MSM.

NEW YORK -- A study of news coverage of the war in Iraq fails to support a conclusion that events were portrayed either negatively or positively most of the time.

The Project for Excellence in Journalism looked at nearly 2,200 stories on television, newspapers and Web sites and found that most of them couldn't be categorized either way.

Twenty-five percent of the stories were negative and 20 percent were positive, according to the study, released Sunday by the Washington-based think tank.

The three network evening newscasts tended to be more negative than positive, while the opposite was true of morning shows, the study said. Fox News Channel was twice as likely to be positive than negative, unlike the more evenhanded CNN and MSNBC, the study said.

A more limited look at campaign coverage found that 36 percent of stories on President Bush were negative, compared to 12 percent for Democrat John Kerry. Stories were positive 20 percent of the time for Bush, 30 percent for Kerry, said the project, which examined some 250 stories for tone.

There may not have been any obvious bias, but implied bias, bias of reporting only bad news, and bias of an anti-war slant are very evident. When all the MSM reports is death counts, exploding cars, terrorist demands, and not the helpful projects, building of schools, waste water treatment plants, roads, bridges, and hospitals, you can't tell me that this is not bias. When all you report are negative facts, then that is biased reporting, and I don't care what the report said, the MSM is biased.

John Kerry Will Always Be a LOSER and a Moron

Kerry, spewed his diatribe during his campaign, flip flopped on the issues, and lost the Election. And to this day he still doesn't understand why he lost, thus he keeps spewing his stupid ideas and Leftist drivel.

He may have drowned in a sea of red states, but John Kerry can't stop running against President Bush.

The defeated Democratic candidate continues to lash out at the man who beat him last November, with attacks on the Bush budget and two of the president's appointments to top foreign policy posts.

The budget Bush submitted to Congress, Kerry told the Center on National Policy, a liberal Democratic think tank, failed to uphold basic values of "honesty, opportunity and responsibility."

Calling the budget dishonest, irresponsible and a violation of the core values of average Americans, Kerry said, "This budget is like an Enron budget: Smoke the numbers, cook the books, hide the truth and hope no one finds out."

According to The Associated Press, Kerry criticized the plan Republicans say preserves tax cuts, has wide support across the country and works to curtail spending that exceeds budget limits.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Kerry blasted the president's nomination of Under Secretary of State John R. Bolton as ambassador to the United Nations and Deputy Defense Secretary Paul D. Wolfowitz as president of the World Bank, saying they would undermine the administration's efforts to rebuild ties with allies frayed by strains over the war in Iraq.

"Here are two people who come to the jobs quite dismissive of the very fundamental purposes and engagements that those entities have been involved in, and it will be felt in the rest of the diplomacy of this administration," Kerry said, ignoring the continued failures of both international organizations.

Of Bolton, Kerry said, "It is very hard to commence a new initiative in foreign policy and then [appoint] somebody to the United Nations who has been so destructive and so clearly dismissive of the U.N. process itself."

Kerry said Wolfowitz, whose nomination must be approved by the World Bank board, was "as guilty as [Defense Secretary] Donald Rumsfeld" of major miscalculations about the war in Iraq.

People say that Kerry is "intelligent", but is it intelligent to not realize that what you believe and say is wrong? He chastises President Bush on the Budget, because it doesn't meet his socialist ideas of Tax and Spend. He trounces Bush on his nomination of Bolton and Wolfowitz because they don't meet his standards of people that will toady to the UN and will help meld a "Global Community". John Kerry is a LOSER and will keep going down the path of spewing his socialist crap, even when events around him show him to be wrong. What a waste of a Senate seat.

Is NBC Stepping Over the Line?

NBC is scrambling to find a new TV show that will bring them the ratings, and in their endeavor, they are turning to religious subject matter. But do they treat this subject matter with dignity?

BURBANK, Calif. (Reuters) - NBC, praying for new hits as it weathers a post-"Friends" ratings slump, may soon be bringing Jesus to prime time -- not as a biblical miracle worker, but as a modern-day private savior for a pill-popping priest.

That's the scenario for "The Book of Daniel," one of several pilot dramas developed at NBC as possible additions to its 2005-2006 schedule and showcased on Thursday for a gathering for advertisers.

"Daniel" is one project that NBC Entertainment President Kevin Reilly said he is particularly excited about, citing it as a prime example of his big new watch word in program development -- "fresh."

"I like that it's slightly provocative," he told Reuters. "We did realize that we're in uncharted waters. ... It certainly stirs people's passions and stirs opinions, and if we do it right, with quality, I think there's millions and millions of people who would say, 'Hey, that's what I've been looking for on television.'"

"Daniel," however, is a far cry from "Passion" or the conventional Easter-season TV specials that portray Christ in a biblical context.

According to NBC's promotional materials, its pilot drama depicts Jesus as a "contemporary, cool" figure who appears as a personal confidant to an Episcopal minister named Daniel Webster (Aidan Quinn), who in turn is wrestling with family issues and a dependence on prescription pills. The cast co-stars Oscar-winner Ellen Burstyn as Daniel's church superior and newcomer Garrett Dillahunt as Jesus.

"Daniel" also is a departure from the more wholesome spirituality offered by such shows as "Touched By an Angel" and "Highway to Heaven."

And therein lies the challenge for NBC -- finding the right balance between breakout hit and blasphemy.

"It's all about execution," said Stacey Lynn Koerner, an executive at the New York-based media buying agency Initiative. "This is a show that plays to the heart of Middle America. ... If it's too provocative, you won't get Middle America. They'll find it sacrilegious."

The network's newest prime-time success is "Medium," stars Patricia Arquette as a suburban housewife who helps solve crimes by communicating with the dead.

And next month, NBC will debut its six-part apocalyptic thriller "Revelations," starring Bill Pullman as a scientist who teams up with a nun to try to thwart Armageddon.

NBC will do anything to be on top, even creating a show in which they think Americans with "Values" would want to see. But they don't get it, the premise of the show is wrong, just because they throw a "cool" Jesus in with a troubled priest, that they will be giving America what they want to see. First off, they must have never read the Bible, because Jesus DOES NOT come back that way, and second Jesus isn't coming back as "cool" he is coming back to kick the Devil's butt. Would you trust a network that has a show with a "Medium" channeling the dead to solve crimes? And as for their "Revelations" mini-movie, they can try to thwart Armageddon all they want, it's in God's plan and it will happen. NBC has no idea of what the hell they are doing, so they will do it badly, and I hope they bomb badly too.

God designed Christianity to be a 4WD spiritual vehicle with mudders, a truck that brings life to the outback. It is not a sensitive Miata that must be preserved from going offroad and into the bush. Quit treating the truth claims of the scripture, the power of the Holy Spirit and the compassion of the Creator like they are some fragile little Fabergé eggs that must be coddled, kept in the sanctuary and never exposed to the mean world.

And Part II, urges us out into the world to help it come to Christ.

If the Christian truly follows the Christ of the Bible and wants to impact this planet positively, then he will spend significant and intentional time away from his church buddies and in the company of people who are fundamentally not of his stripe. Yes, if you follow the life of Jesus as lined out in the scripture, you’ll quickly see that the majority of his ministry went down outside of formal religious buildings filled with proper religious people.

Jesus’ faith was not afraid of the mean old nasty world. Y’know … I could be wrong, but I’m pretty certain about this: part of his whole reason for showing up 2000 years ago was to embrace, grace and change people whom most religious folks would spit on. Christ carried his work off road and away from the Lysol-disinfected “sacred” surroundings that all the religious indoor boys must have in order to subsist, and instead took his hearty convictions beyond the pavement and was … kinda … successful.

Imagine that! Jesus, minus funky religious hats, robes, wands, bumper stickers and a friendly environment, effectively revolutionized the planet via his robust out-of-the-orthodox-box faith. And guess what, Christian? You can too. It will not necessarily be that easy, but it is … necessary.

The Catholic Church is Wrong on This Issue

The Catholic Church is denying funeral rites for a man who owned "Gay" Clubs.

Funeral services for a businessman whose nightclubs cater to gays were being held at an Episcopal church Friday after San Diego's Catholic bishop, in an unusual step, ruled out Catholic services for the man.

Bishop Robert Brom decided not to allow any of the 98 Roman Catholic churches in San Diego or Imperial counties to hold services for Club Montage owner John McCusker Jr. because the diocese deemed his business "inconsistent with Catholic moral teaching."

McCusker, 31, died Sunday of congestive heart failure while vacationing in Mammoth.

McCusker's family, said to comprise devout Catholics, planned a funeral at the Immaculata Catholic Church on the campus of the University of San Diego, where McCusker attended school. But Brom nixed the idea.

"The facts regarding the business activities of John McCusker were not known by church officials when arrangements were requested for his funeral," the Roman Catholic Diocese said in a statement this morning.

"However, when these facts became known, the bishop concluded that to avoid public scandal Mr. McCusker cannot be granted a funeral in a Catholic Church in the chapel of the Diocese of San Diego."

"Bishops usually refuse a funeral to someone if it would cause mass scandal within the church," Coughlin said. "This is something usually reserved for organized crime figures. I've never heard it applied to the owner of a gay club. Denying someone a Catholic funeral is rarely ever done."

"The bishop must also consider whether the person reconciled with God before their death," Coughlin said. "But it is sometimes difficult to determine a man's relationship with God in the moments before his death."

The hypocrisy of this decision is too much for me to remain silent on the issue. When the Catholic priesthood is riddled with homosexuals, this Bishop is going to deny funeral rites for a man who owned Gay bars. This is wrong, I don't advocate homosexuality, I don't advocate owning Gay Bars, but I sure wouldn't deny someone funeral rites because of it. Homosexuality is a sin, but so is extra-marital sex, lying, stealing and other things, so why pick on this man? I think the Bishop made the wrong decision, and that he needs to resend it, unless he also is going to deny funeral rites for the priests in his Diocese that he knows are homosexuals also.
