Can't Refute It, So Argue on a Tangent

I wrote a post back in 9/2006 on "The Differences Between Christianity and Islam", which I found through Technorati was recently linked and discussed by a Muslim at The American Muslim.

Here is what I wrote:

And I am not talking about the big differences, because if you look, there are some similarities. Christianity believes in 1 God (made of 3 parts), Islam has 1 god, Christians are people of the Book (New and Old Testament) and Muslims are people of their book, the Koran, and both hold Jerusalem as a Holy place.

No, the big difference is how we go about making converts, how we deal with insults and our legal system. Christians are instructed by God to preach the Good News to non-believers, where as Muslims are instructed by their prophet to preach their faith, and if the person doesn't convert, to kill them. Christianity's goal is not to take over the world and control the world's Gov't, Islam's is. Violence in the act of faith is one the biggest and most glaring difference that can be seen daily. I am not saying Christianity is a non-violent religion, our past is full of it, from the Crusades to the Inquisition, but that is way in the past. Christianity has evolved and civilized to where violence is not the norm, but a very obscure abnormality. Where as violence for Muslims is a daily occurrence, and a sought after means to their ends. We don't burn and kill because someone made a slight against our God, God can take care of himself, and in the end that person will have to answer to God, where as Muslims throw fits, spew hate, burn and kill, because someone mildly insulted their prophet, not even their god. We don't target the innocent in the name of our faith as where Muslim believe that there are no innocents, thus all are fair game to their killings. Christians don't want to be at war with Muslims, we would rather preach to them, and if we can't settle our differences, then go our separate ways. Where as Muslims want to bring their war to us, purposefully trying to obliterate our way of life and our faith. We don't impose a barbaric legal system upon our believers and non-believes, we don't believe in 'honor killings', beheadings, or the cutting off of limbs for minor crimes, and we don't especially kill someone that convert to another religion.

The avocation of violence to convert, violence to protest an implied insult, violent and degrading legal system, violence to take over the world and violence against the innocent are what separate Christians from being similar to Muslims. Christianity and Islam will never truly see eye-to-eye, because of their proclivity to violence to obtain their goals, as where we know the end results of goals, God has the final judgment.

And here is their argument refuting what I wrote:

Let’s look at the premise that “violence is not the norm” in Christianity. How to measure something like this is tricky, but this was certainly not true throughout large portions of history. Whether it is true today is arguable. One look at our our cities, our schools, or even our homes, and violence by Christians, and every other group, is apparent. Since 9/11, there has been a rise in hate crimes against minority groups, and the aggressors often identify themselves and their motives as being Christian. Looking at the bigger picture, what country is the primary supplier of weapons to the rest of the world? Hint: it is not a Muslim country. What country has the highest military expenditures per capita of any country on earth? See previous hint. Which country has proposed bombing other countries into the stone age? The answer to all three is the US, which no one would identify as a Muslim country. Those who developed and dropped the atom bomb were a multicultural group--but none were Muslim. Looking outside the US, where have arguable violent and repressive systems like fascism, communism, and Naziism been produced? Not in Muslim countries. Was it Muslims who carried out the Rwandan and Bosnian genocides? Are the Italian and Russian mafias Muslim? Are the South American drug cartels Muslims? Who talks about sanctions, pre-emptive strikes, invasions? Who allows the torture of Muslims in various secret and not-so-secret prisons. What religion was Timothy McVeigh? The IRA?

So, the idea that ALL violence or terrorism is Muslim is laughable. All these examples show, as would a simple glance at any collection of court-documents, that there is an unfortunately common occurence of violence today, and it does not all involve Muslims (not even close). By population, violence is an aberration found in EVERY group.

What does military expenditures have to do with an inherent violent society? Just because we have the technology, and Muslim countries don't, to make weapons, does that make American Christians more violent?

Notice how this person did not refute one statement that I made about Muslims being more violent that Christians. Yes, they bring up wars involving Christians, WWI & WWII, but they were not started by Christians, but secular societies. And as I stated before, Christians don't protest, kill and riot for perceived insults, we don't believe in barbaric honor killings of family members, we don't purposely target innocent women and children for death to make political and religious statements. And our legal system would not imprison a victim of gang rape. Last, but not least, Christians today do not kill Christians that convert to other religions, or refuse to convert to ours.

I never said that Christian nations are non-violent nations, I said that the violence is not the norm and where in Islamic societies it is, and is accepted as the norm.

Boycott the "Golden Compass" Movie

If you haven't heard or seen the trailers, there is a new movie coming out that looks real cool, but in actuality it is an atheist version of chronicles of Narnia.

Here is what Fox said about the movie:

It's the world of author Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy, and on Dec. 7 a movie based on the first book in that series, "The Golden Compass," hits theaters. The entire series has been dubbed the "anti-Narnia," with Pullman regularly expressing disdain for C.S. Lewis' fictional world and even once calling it "propaganda in the service of a life-hating ideology." He has sought to write a completely different fictional tale, and he has succeeded. He said in a 2001 interview, "I'm trying to undermine the basis of Christian belief," and two years later told another newspaper, "My books are about killing God."

I don't mind fantasy books or movies, but I do take exception to books and movies targeting children whose purpose it is to brainwash children into thinking the Christian God is EVIL and he should be killed.

I suggest all parents read both the Scopes and the other article fully, and make up their own minds, but in my mind, that movie is propaganda as bad as if not worse than De Palma's Redacted.

Donks Have Values?!?

As every Donk running for President has been doing, Hussein Obama went to a church, and tried to sell to the people that the Donks are religious also. And then, he stood there and announced that the GOP doesn't have a monopoly on values, that the Donks have values too.

GREENVILLE, South Carolina (CNN) — After speaking to an evangelical church on Sunday in this traditionally conservative South Carolina city, Sen. Barack Obama said that Republicans no longer have a firm grip on religion in political discourse.

"I think its important particularly for those of us in the Democratic Party to not cede values and faith to any one party," Obama told reporters outside the Redemption World Outreach Center where he attended services.

"I think that what you're seeing is a breaking down of the sharp divisions that existed maybe during the nineties, when at least in politics the perception was that the Democrats were fearful of talking about faith, and on the other hand you had the Republicans who had a particular brand of faith that often times seemed intolerant or pushed people away," he said.

Is he an idiot or does he believe that the people are idiots? The GOP never held a monopoly on values, their values just happen to align with the values of religious voters as where the Donks don't.

Let's examine some of the "values" and religion of the Donks:

- Federally funded Abortion on demand, ohhh that one aligns right nicely with voters with heavy religious values.
- Federally funded Embryonic Stem Cell Research - another value voters are clamoring for.
- Support for the ACLU, you know that commie organization that is trying to wipe out Christianity and morals in our schools, and from the public's eye.
- Global Warming and the worship of Gaia, value voters are really worried about that one
- Assisted suicide
- Homosexual Marriage
- Anti-Americanism
- Anti-Military
- Pro-Gay Activism
- Socialist Entitlement programs

And the list goes on.

Value voters see what the Donks represent, not just what they say, and that is why they have been supporting the Republican Party, because actions do speak louder than hollow words.

I like Pope Benedict XVI, because he is a no nonsense crusty kinda guy. But he went and stepped on his schwantz by say that churches that are not Roman Catholic are "defective" or are not true churches.

There are a lot of doctrinal differences between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism, but basically they are both Christian. Hell, there are even doctrinal differences between Protestant denominations. And now B. goes and acts like Jesus died and left him king of all Christianity. Don't think so, bucko! You can say all you want, but you are not the final judge on this, He is in heaven, and He is a lot move powerful than you are.

Our friends, the most understanding and tolerant Saudi Arabians says it's OK to practice non-Islamic religions, as long it is in private.

Non-Muslims in Saudi Arabia are free to practise their religion in the ultra-conservative Gulf kingdom but must do so in private, the head of a government watchdog told AFP on Monday.

"This matter is well known and doesn't require reasserting -- non-Muslims can conduct their religious ceremonies in secret but not in public," said the head of the Saudi Human Rights Commission, Turki al-Sudairy.

Yeah, Yeah, I get it, in secret, as in so no one else knows that you are worshiping any other God than Allah. That's mighty tolerant of y'all. I bet you feel real generous letting non-muslims practice their own faith, but you don't want to be bothered with knowing about it, eh?

Let's All Shed a Tear for the Whiny Progressive "Christians"

The Leftards are enlisting the help of progressive "Christians" to spew their party line, gun control, anti-GWoT and "Global Warming". And why are these progressive "Christians" whining? They are whining about how much media coverage that the Religious Right gets.

They are whining because they want the MSM to promote more of their religious leftist lies, this is so the Donks can claim they have religion and "values" too. But the Leftard Media Matters didn't give us the whole story, of those 2.8 times the number of news stories, how many of them were positive? And how many were written to make Christians look bad? Don't want to answer that do you? That is what makes the difference, not the number, but the slant of the news stories.

The Left will do all it can to get the people to believe that they have values, even using valueless Christians to lie for them. Some people will buy this snake oil, but the vast majority of the people with values will see right through it.

Easter is Now a Political Holiday

Easter is a Christian religious holiday which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus. It also has been a tradition event at the White House to have children roll eggs across the South Lawn. What should be an innocent and charming event has become a political event by those that don't care for anyone except their agenda.

The Gays want to crash the party to bring attention to themselves.

Another "peace" group planned a Easter "bomb" hunt across from the White House.

As hundreds attend the White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn, a smaller group will gather at the park on the north side for what is being billed as a "family-friendly Easter cluster-bomb hunt."

These groups are not doing anything for the children, it's all about them and their agenda. They are not thinking about the true meaning behind the holiday, it's all a "Me, Me, Me" event. Media Whores, one and all.

Then you have a newspaper in Oklahoma, who instead of an Easter message yesterday, they decided to headline a story on Islamophobia.

Easter – the most joyous and important holiday in the Christian calendar.

But there was no mention of it on the front page of an Oklahoma newspaper in a town served by more than 70 churches.

Instead, page 1 of the Stillwater NewsPress was dominated yesterday by a story about efforts to battle anti-Islam bigotry by the Muslim Student Association of Oklahoma State University.

Anti-Muslim bigotry? What about the anti-Christian bigotry that Americans are experiencing? And universities are the worst of the anti-Christian bigots!

Christmas has become political with cities and businesses seeing who can be more PC than the other, and now Easter has become a holiday in which group and Liberals are usurping the holiday for their "messages".

America is losing it's soul, and when it is gone, you are going to be left with Secular Humanism and Moral Relativism which will lead to chaos and depravity.

Good Friday and a Heretical Anglican Priest

Today is Good Friday, the day Christians celebrate the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. And then you have this Gay Anglican (Episcopal) priest that not only doesn't believe that, but also says that the idea is insane.

Church of England traditionalists, wearied by the battles over homosexuality in the church and the clergy, are about to take it on their spiritual chins once again when a leading "gay" cleric will tell listeners to BBC Radio 4 that Christianity's traditional teaching on Christ's crucifixion for the sins of mankind is "repulsive," "insane" and makes "God sound like a psychopath."

Christian theology has taught the doctrine of "penal substitution" – that humans, alienated from God by their sins and unable to save themselves, could only be forgiven by God sending Christ as a substitute to suffer and die in their place.

"In other words, Jesus took the rap and we got forgiven as long as we said we believed in him," said John. "This is repulsive as well as nonsensical. It makes God sound like a psychopath. If a human behaved like this we'd say that they [sic] were a monster."

How can this PINO (Priest In Name Only) claim he is a Christian and not believe in one of the basic tenets of Christianity? How can he say the Nicaean Creed (which states: "... For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate...") every Sunday and be a hypocrite? Humanism has been taking over the Anglican Church and other mainline Protestant Churches, and this is the results: a Gay Priest that denies Christ's sacrifice for us.

Well guess what Mr Jeffrey John, Christ died for you, whether you believe it or not.

What is Progressive? Part Deaux

When I originally wrote "What is a Progressive?" in 2004, I was venting on those that thought they were better than everyone else because they embraced the Progressive cause. Those that call themselves "Progressive" are really Liberals that have hate traditions and things like honor and integrity because those things get in the way of their idea of "progress". Things have changed since I wrote the first post, and not for the better. So I thought I would update my rant and add some new progressive/liberal ideas.

Is it really "Progressive" to:

- Continually push for research using Embryonic Stem Cells that destroy human life and have shown nothing as far as progress, when Adult Stem Cells research has been very successful?

- To vocal espouse "Democracy", but will not support our endeavor to help the Iraq people to achieve it?

- To say you are "Patriotic" and "Support Our Troops", while writing wounded soldiers hate mail and protesting them at Walter Reed Hospital?

- To embrace "Moral Relativism" where the only difference between Good and Evil is the person's viewpoint, and believing that Saddam Husein and other mass murders are not evil?

- To coddle the enemy combatants held at Gitmo, wanting to give the rights of Americans, when they have vowed to destroy all Americans by their actions?

- To want to tax the hard working middle class of America, and then giving the money away to those that don't want to work and believe they deserve a hand out?

- To embrace dhimmihood?

- To want to outlaw the private ownership of guns, but want their bodyguards to carry one?

- To protect Muslims from being "offended", but calling Christians "Christianists", "fundies" and calling Christ "Jeebuz", and while doing everything you can to eliminate Christianity from American life?

- To support our enemies, while hating our country and it's countrymen?

- To say that you are pro-American, but want the UN to set our foreign policy?

- To support the terrorist backed Palestinians over the Democratic Israelis?

- To support the concept that man is the cause of "Global Warming" when there is no conclusive proof and stifle any dissension on the issue?

- To insist upon your right of Free Speech, while stifling the opposition's Right to the same Free Speech?

- To claim that you stand up for all minorities, while do your best to keep them in poverty and taking them for granted?

- To love Muslims and Hate Jews?


To "progress" is to move forward. But the Progressive's movement is not forward movement towards improvement, their movement is towards shackling of Americans with "Hate Speech" restrictions, Political Correctness, the taking of human life lightly, Nanny Laws, religious limitations, hatred, and the elimination of the Constitution.

The Progressive/Liberal movement is a movement towards tyranny, and Thank God, I am not a Progressive.

Trying to Silence Christians

The silencing of Christians and the banishing of God is a plague that has taken over America. From removing the cross on LA's emblem, suing over the Pledge of Allegiance, trying to remove the Soledad cross, to arresting Christians protesting at a gay parade in Philly, to now arresting Christians handing out Bibles on a public sidewalk in Florida.

Two men who are members of Gideons International, the Christian organization that is famous for, among other ministries, placing Bibles in motels and giving them to children, have been arrested after trying to hand out Bibles on a public sidewalk in Florida, according to a law firm.

The arrest happened Jan. 19, when Mirto and Simpson were on the sidewalk outside of Key Largo School in Key Largo, Fla., and were distributing copies of the Bible to those interested.

"Neither man entered school grounds," the law firm said. "After the school's principal called police, a Monroe County sheriff's officer asked the men to leave immediately or face trespassing charges. As the men prepared to leave, the officer decided to arrest both individuals."

The First Amendment is your Constitutional right if you burn flags, protest against wounded soldiers, are a screaming Gay Activist, accuse the Gov't of planning 9/11, but if want to hand out Bibles on public land in front of a school you can forget about having that right. The secular humanists want to eliminate all signs of Christianity, they want to silence Christians from speaking or displaying their symbols, and they are working hard at this goal.

These men violated no laws, and were arrested because some demented anti-Christian principal thought she could control what happens around her school, and they were also arrested because an idiot sheriff doesn't know the Constitution. They will have the charges dropped, they won't receive an apology, and this will happen again.

Beware the Secular Humanists and Nannies, they want to control your life and shred the Constitution.

Newt Gingrich was talking about the removal of the cross on Wren Chapel at William and Mary College when he said the following:

"...to the rule of the perpetually aggrieved, a tyranny of the easily offended."

Now doesn't that just hit the nail on the head! Schools, Gov'ts and businesses are giving in to that that are easily offended and it is tyranny. To overtly offend is wrong, but if someone is offended because of a cross in a Christian Chapel, or jewelry or even some innocent words, then they should man up and get over it! When we give in to these "offended" nazis, we are enabling them and allowing them to rule our lives, and I for one am tired of it.

So next time you hear someone say that they are "offended", just tell them TFB, and get over it.

Christmas Eve - 2006

Today as I scanned the news, I found several items I could post upon, but I decided not to. Why? Because today is Christmas Eve, and that is what we should be concentrating upon, not the stupidity that is going on around us.

Today is the day for the last minute Christmas shopping, traveling to homes of our loved ones to celebrate Christmas with, going to Church to celebrate Christ's birth in a special way and just being with family and friends.

Young children are all excited because Santa Claus will come down the chimney tonight with his bag of goodies and leave presents under the tree for them, and parents will be busy placing those presents under the tree (or if they are like me when my boys were young, spending hours assembling toys, bikes and other assorted gifts that come with instruction made in China).

I feel sorry for those that have to be away from their family this Christmas, especially those that are protecting us here at home, by fighting the War on Terrorism abroad. Those men and women in America's military are giving us the best Christmas present ever, their time away their families and their lives. Thank You!

I also feel sorry for those that don't celebrate Christmas because it is a religious holiday, and I am not talking about the Jews or other religions, I am talking about those that hate religions. They are so filled with spite and hatred that this holiday sends them into a whirlwind of lawsuits, foaming at the mouth diatribes and evil glares. I feel sorry for them because they are missing out on a great celebration, and the chance to give, not just receive.

I just love Christmas, the winter season, the lights and decorations, the beautiful Nativity Scenes, and the Christmas Carols that sings of the wonders of Christ's birth. I love it all, and I pray that others feel the same way as I do.

The TRUTH Behind Kwanzaa

Remember as a kid in December you celebrated Christmas if you were a Christian and Hanukkah if you were Jewish, we had never heard of Kwanzaa. But now it is suppose to be a winter 'religious holiday' along with both. So what is the story behind Kwanzaa and is it to be taken seriously?

Kwanzaa was invented by Ron Karenga in 1966 "to give a Black alternative to the existing holiday and give Blacks an opportunity to celebrate themselves and history, rather than simply imitate the practice of the dominant society."
So It is a Blacks only holiday for Blacks to celebrate their 'history, and it is celebrated at the end of December.

But let's dig a little deeper into it's beginnings. It was created by Ron Karenga (born Ron Everett) who was a Black Panther that was kicked out of that violent racist club, and he then created the United Slaves Organization that was the Panther's rival and was worse than the Black Panthers. So Ronald baby, Kwanzaa's creator did not have a sterling past, in fact he was sent to prison for 'felonious assault and false imprisonment' for trying to torture two Black women. What a stand up guy, just the person to start a 'religious holiday'.

Ron created Kwanzaa not because he was an altruistic person, he created it because he was a racist and wanted his own 'holiday' alternative to Christmas.
"...Kwanzaa is not an imitation, but an alternative, in fact, and oppositional alternative to the spookism, mysticism and non-earth based practices which plague us as a people . . . " A great reason to start your own holiday, you can't have "spookism, mysticism and non-earth based practices" plaguing your "people', no siree, can't have that.

Kwanzaa is suppose to be based on Black American's African 'roots', and that is fake too, in fact it is an American creation with no link to traditional African celebrations. In effect, it is a racist based fake holiday with fake celebrations created to replace Christmas for Black Americans.

What bothers me most about Kwanzaa is that duped people and the Gov't (US Postal Kwanzaa stamps) are starting to give legitimacy to this racist 'holiday' without acknowledging it's background and purpose. It is not a 'holiday' which all people can celebrate, it is a holiday for Blacks to separate themselves from the rest of America.

So next time someone says "Happy Kwanzaa" just remember they are talking about a fake holiday created by a Marxist Racist Black criminal in the '60s to lead Blacks away from the 'white man's' Christmas.

The Anglican Church is Unraveling

I have been expecting this for years, ever since the Episcopal Church ordained a actively gay bishop. Many Anglicans disagree with the Church's stance on homosexual priests and bishops, and with the leadership of the Church being wishy-washy on the issue, they have decided to move away from the Church. Not only are they separating themselves from the main Church, but they are barring liberal priests and bishops from entering their churches.

Liberal bishops who support homosexual priests are to be barred from entering some churches and money intended for Anglican coffers will be withheld.

In a dramatic escalation in the Church of England's civil war over homosexual clergy, scores of evangelical churches will break their historic links with liberal bishops who oversee their parishes.

The deepening of the conflict represents the "ultimate" protest by conservative clergy against liberal bishops' support for homosexual priests who have used the Civil Partnerships Act to "marry" their boyfriends.

The rebel clerics are setting up a panel of retired bishops to provide pastoral care to parishes in dioceses run by liberal bishops. The move is similar to the provision of "flying bishops" to opponents of women priests when they were first ordained in 1994.

Up to 100 churches have said that they intend to split from their bishops and seek support from the new panel. That is likely to mark only the beginning of the schism, however, as the panel of conservative bishops will provide an attractive alternative to other disaffected parishes.

This schism will finalize itself in the next few years, as those churches that disagree with the Church's stance will form their own community, along with the majority of the Anglican Churches in Africa and Asia that hold those same conservative views. This schism is the correct action to take, because to rid yourself of corruption, you must cut out the corrupting portion. I hate to see it, but it must be done.

The Continuing War Against Seasonal Holidays

For years I have been reporting on the War Against Christmas, even before Bill O'Reilly pick up on it. I have posted on the outrageous and sometimes unlawful banning of all things Christian relating to the Christmas holiday, by the stupid, the ACLU and the secular humanists that hate Christmas. Well now I am in an outrage because Ft. Collins, Colo. will allow a Christmas Tree, but not a Menorah.

As already reported the Downtown Development Authority in Ft. Collins, Colorado has refused to include a Chanukah Menorah in public holiday displays but does allow a Christmas tree display. The members of the municipality claim that they only allow secular symbols and a Christmas tree is a secular symbol but not a Menorah.

The City Council also insists that the Menorah is not a secular symbol although the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that a Chanukah menorah can be a secular symbol in such settings

There are 2 main religious holiday this time of year, Hanukkah and Christmas (Kwanzaa doesn't count because it is a made up holiday created by a Black Panther criminal in the 60's). Both have always been recognized by Americans, until the secular animals started banning them, because of the mythical "Separation of Church and State". Even though I am a Christian, I totally support Judaism, because of our Christianity sprung from it, and I support their right to celebrate Hanukkah with a Menorah as their symbol, and for Ft. Collins to ban it is the same as them banning a Christmas Tree or a Nativity Scene.

I salute Republican U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard of Colorado for being present at the lighting of the Menorah, because he understands the significance of the Jewish holiday.

Shame on you Ft. Collins City Counsel, you along with the ACLU and the rest of the secular humnanist are driving this country down the sewer.
