Is Fwance Getting It's Bibical Come-Uppence?
Fwance is the middle of a severe drought and is being plagued by swarms of locusts.
In Bibical times, when God was mad at the Israelites, he would punish them with drought and locust. Now it sounds like God is mad with Fwance, and I wounder why. May it be that they harbour the largest Muslim population in Europe? May it be that it's leaders scammed billions of dollars from the Oil-for-Food program while Iraqi woman and children suffered? May it be that their society is soooo secular that they make the ACLU look like Tent Revival Preachers? May it be that their Arab butt kissing has reach Bibical proportions? May it be that they would sell WMD to anybody? Or could it be that their Napoleonic Complex has gotten too far out of hand?

Whatever the reason, God seems to be pissed with Fwance, and they are going to suffer.

On top of a severe drought, France is fighting a plague of hundreds of thousands of locusts.
The locusts are devouring everything from crops to window-box flowers, reported the Observer.
"At the beginning they seem small, insignificant insects but they grow very quickly," said Aveyron region farmer Gerard Laussel. "They eat everything that is green, leaving only stalks, and when they have finished they leave some kind of scent so the cattle do not want to graze on what is left."
The French environment ministry said drought could be felt across most of France, but it mostly impacted from the Atlantic Ocean to Paris.
"There is nothing we can do for the 700 or 800 farmers affected," said Patrice Lemoux, an agriculture official. "The locust has no known predator and the only insecticides which might make a difference are banned."
