Playing Politics With Disaster

When a disaster like Hurricane Katrina strikes, this is not the time to play politics, it is the time to come together and help those in need. But someone forgot to tell the Donks this, because they have been using is to blast Bush for everything from causing the hurricane to racism.

Jesse Jackson Accusses Pres. Bush of Being Racist

Rev. Jesse Jackson accused the Bush administration on Friday of not acting faster to rescue New Orleans' beleaguered flood victims because they were largely black, poor and Democrat.

"Many black people feel that their race, their property conditions and their voting patterns have been a factor in the response," Jackson told the New York Times after meeting with Louisiana officials.

In an open letter to President Bush posted on his Web site, liberal filmmaker and anti-war activist Michael Moore suggests that a delay in rescuing stranded residents of New Orleans was based on race and class.

"It's not your fault that 30 percent of New Orleans lives in poverty or that tens of thousands has no transportation to get out of town," Moore wrote. "C'mon, they're black! ... Can you imagine leaving white people on their roofs for five days?"

Rapper Slams Bush During Relief Show

(JND) - In a selfish and unprofessional move, Kanye West used a Red Cross benefit to benefit his own personal platform Friday night during the NBC Hurricane Katrina Relief program. West's comments were later cut from the program when aired on the West Coast airing.

In a disgusting display, West strayed from his prepared script to offer an overflow of hatred from his mouth, taking the spotlight off of the matter at hand, turning the relief program into his own personal soapbox. Whether or not anyone agrees with Mr. West... it was clear that now was not the time to voice such harsh opinions

Just before being cut by NBC executives, West stated: "George Bush doesn't care about black people."

What all these Haters have in common is that they are opportunists using other people's suffering to further their cause, and they are stupid to boot. President Bush had nothing to do with the intitial relief effort, it was controlled by FEMA, and when he saw that it was inadequate, he stepped in and increased the effort. The disaster relief has nothing to do with race, and has all to do with resources, logistics, and the damage itself. If these Leftists Race Baiters had any compassion for the people that are suffering and not just trying to push their Hate agenda, they would not making these wild accusations, but leading the way in relief efforts. I am hoping Black people know the real truth and are not taken in by these Media Prostitutes with Hate in their hearts, because the slow efforts are not President Bush's fault at all.
