Scam Man Jesse Jackson, still living in the past and wanting to humble Whitey, is saying that Great Britain ought to apologize for the Black Slave Trade.
Yes, the inhuman slave trade was an abominatable practice, but that was over 200 years ago and there is no one alive that had anything to do with it, so what's the beef?

It's not only the Black Africans that were enslaved and sold as chattel property, White Christians have felt the master's whip also.
Jesse wants everyone to think of slavery as a "White on Black" crime, but that is not the case. slavery was the way of life for centuries and it was not just Blacks that were enslaved, it affected all cultures and races.
So Jesse had better find a better scam, because his people weren't the only ones to be dehumanized by being slaves. I think Jesse ought to go back to shaking down stupid companies that are willing to fork over extortion money to keep themselves out of the news, because he ain't going to get any sympathy out of me.

The Rev. Jackson is currently touring Britain to launch a social initiative aimed at tackling economic inequalities in minority and other deprived areas.
The slave trade officially was abolished in the British Empire in 1807, but Jackson said Britain today rests on the profits generated by the trade, and the government should apologize for it.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A new study suggests that a million or more European Christians were enslaved by Muslims in North Africa between 1530 and 1780 – a far greater number than had ever been estimated before.
In a new book, Robert Davis, professor of history at Ohio State University, developed a unique methodology to calculate the number of white Christians who were enslaved along Africa’s Barbary Coast, arriving at much higher slave population estimates than any previous studies had found.
Most other accounts of slavery along the Barbary coast didn’t try to estimate the number of slaves, or only looked at the number of slaves in particular cities, Davis said. Most previously estimated slave counts have thus tended to be in the thousands, or at most in the tens of thousands. Davis, by contrast, has calculated that between 1 million and 1.25 million European Christians were captured and forced to work in North Africa from the 16th to 18th centuries.
