America is Coming to It's Senses

America after decades of lethargically watch the Left erode it's morals and the values that made it strong, has been waking up and throwing off the socialist cloak that has been covering eyes to what is right and wrong. We have been assault on all sides, through Nanny Laws, corrupt Donk leadership and the worst, through liberal judges with the backbones of a jellyfish. One of the most un-American affronts that has appeared in the war for the soul of America has been the attack on the Pledge of Allegiance by Atheists. Newdow lost his case in the Supreme Court and now another crybaby has lost in Virginia.
RICHMOND, Va. -- An appeals court on Wednesday upheld a Virginia law that requires public schools to lead a daily recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, rejecting a claim that its reference to God was an unconstitutional promotion of religion.

A suit filed by Edward Myers of Sterling, Va., a father of three, raised the objection to the phrase "one nation under God."

A three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the pledge is a patriotic exercise, not an affirmation of religion similar to a prayer.

"Undoubtedly, the pledge contains a religious phrase, and it is demeaning to persons of any faith to assert that the words `under God' contain no religious significance," Judge Karen Williams wrote. "The inclusion of those two words, however, does not alter the nature of the pledge as a patriotic activity."

Myers' attorney, David Remes, said the 4th Circuit judges failed to examine the pledge's effect on children.

"The problem is that young school children are quite likely to view the pledge as affirming the existence of God and national subordination to God," Remes said. "The reference to God is one of the few things in the pledge that children understand."

The 4th Circuit was right in assessing that the Pledge is a patriot affirmation oath, not one establishing religion. And as for influencing young children, there is nothing wrong with letting children know that there is a God, it might actually have a positive affect on their lives. The man that brought the suit was not your typical American Hating Socialist, he is just an confused Christian that doesn't believe that you should have a mingling of church and state, but that doesn't mean the America and God haters where not in the background urging this suit on with a devilish gleam in their eye. We need to take America back for Americans and stop worrying if may "offend" someone with our Pledge of Allegiance.
