Target Stores are on My NO SHOPPING LIST!!

Target Stores are telling the Salvation Army that they can not put their Kettles out front anymore in Michigan
Salvation Army chapters in West Michigan and elsewhere are scrambling to decide how to replace donations to Christmas bell-ringers outside Target stores after the retailer banned the ubiquitous holiday fixture.

Volunteers collected nearly $9 million at Target stores across the nation last year.

Target's new policy will be a blow to the Salvation Army of Muskegon, which also struggles to find enough volunteer bell-ringers, said Major Max Grindle, commanding officer of the local Salvation Army.

and N. Carolina.
A decision by Target Corp. to end Salvation Army solicitations at its stores could force the Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte to close a local shelter, say area officials of the nonprofit organization.

The local Salvation Army raised nearly $272,000 last year in its annual kettle holiday drive, with more than a third of that total -- nearly $98,000 -- coming from kettles at six Target stores in Mecklenburg County.

The Salvation Army is one of the few True Charities that give and give, to the Homeless, and the people that need it. I remember my Father telling me about how the Salvation Army helped him for free during WWII in the Pacific, where the Red Cross was charging sailors. I fine it disturbing that a store owned by a Democrat Senator would kick the Salvation Army off their property, especially when the Dems are worried about "Moral Values". Well this demonstrates that they don't have the values that the people of America respect. I plan on writing a letter telling Target of my decision to boycott their store and why. I like Wal-Mart better anyway, owned by good Republicans.

Please Help Me Spread the Word - BOYCOTT TARGET STORES!!
