Dutch Muslims Don't Like the Truth

The Muslim community in the Netherlands have thier turbans all in a bunch about a fictional film created by an ex-Muslim woman on Islam's barbaric treatment of women.
THE HAGUE: Dutch Muslim society is in uproar after the broadcast on national television of a film that tells the fictional story of a Muslim woman forced into a violent marriage, raped by a relative and brutally punished for adultery.

Submission, an English-language film that one Muslim group called "extremely insulting", was written by a right-wing politician who renounced the Islamic faith of her birth years ago and now says she is an "ex-Muslim".

Like her right-wing colleagues, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a member of the Dutch parliament, has outraged Muslims by repeatedly criticising Islamic customs and the failure of Muslim families to adopt Dutch ways.

Ms Hirsi Ali, originally from Somalia, said the 11-minute film was not intended to be provocative, but was an attempt to reach "intelligent Muslim women" and to expose the abuse of women by Muslim males.

The film tells the fictional story of a young Muslim woman forced into an arranged marriage with a man who beats her. She is ordered to keep silent about being raped by her uncle to protect his honour, and is punished for having an adulterous relationship with a man she falls in love with at a market.

I can see why they are upset, this film tells the truth about Islam. These types of scenerios, depicted in the film, happen all over the world ever day. And Muslims don't want this to be known. They response is:
Several Muslim groups and newspapers criticised the film as a shallow provocation lacking in insight. The women's group Al Nisa called it "extremely insulting" and said Ms Hirsi Ali had shown "ignorance and insensitivity" on the issue of domestic violence.

So she is insensitive and ignorant, I don't think so, I think she knows exactly what she is exposing in the film, and Muslims don't want their dirty underwear exposed to the world. Too bad, the truth hurts doesn't it, Abdul?
